How to Chop and Modify a Vintage Dash for Modern Gauges

In the last episode of our ice cream truck build, we chopped and modified the dashboard to continue the body swap of our 1958 F series Ford onto our 2009 Chevrolet Express chassis. In this episode I go into greater detail on the dashboard modification to hopefully help those of you trying something similar.

I think I might have put down a padded dash cover so the minimal height differences were not a problem. First time someone hits that dash with their fist - or product - they might end up cracking it. fwiw and imo. 🙂
