With out taking it apart, use it as a midi sound module. Use something like MASCHINE, or another Daw for sequencing. Or you could take it apart, to replace or clean the button.

@@nusense808 absolutely. Frankly speaking you can do everything in an ASR that you can do in a newer machine. It’s just little quirks and work arounds that you have to do

Iv always wanted an asr ten on the eps i got a korg micro sampler cause i was told it was a baby asr it was pretty good but it was no asr ten

Nah nothing like that. It forces creativity. It makes you listen with your ears and not your eyes.

@@BIG_APEX_REACTS Roland W30. Another sampling workstation that came out around the same time. Great piece of kit, but limited sampling time of 14 secs. Would also have benefited from chopping samples without losing memory for sure.
