Great Job gal. I love your videos... I am a PhD track student in France. Fed schools, waive the 3770euros for non- EU students if they apply for an exemption( only 10% of admitted students). The exemption will be based on academic excellence and social criteria.... But there are lots of schools that go with the 243 euros, which is the same as the registration fee for EU students.

I applied this year for Master's program and so relate! I missed out on the Sorbonne because I couldn't get my high school diploma (that I didn't have so had to order) and wouldn't give me a leeway because it was taking time due to another lockdown here! And all the e-candidate accounts and writing the same information in each!! 😴😴

Oh no ! 🥺 I got through the application process for the Sorbonne but then they wanted me to come for a test in France and I was like.... But.... That's 1500$ in flights !? Because it's such a known school I think they have to be super strict with the process to weed out as many candidates as possible 😕 for my e-candidate accounts I think I kept a word doc with all the repeated info 😂 have you been accepted into a program yet !?
@libbysenglish3 жыл бұрын
@@Ariellelaparisienne Oh wow, yes it is not practical! You didn't need to do any tests for the school you went to? It seems scary with all the entrance exams they have for some programs rather than basing acceptance on your academic history, recommendations, motivation letter and ...maybe an interview. Yes! I got offered both Lyon 2 and Université de Paris (previously Paris Diderot). I would love to try to live in Lyon (or just outside Paris in general as I was an English assistant there) but it is difficult as I feel that I have supports and friends in Paris (the expense is the other problem!) I wish I had more time for the applications because the system is really confusing and studying in alternance would have been amazing. It is overwhelming to understand university vs private, and I hear about the elitism etc so I hope that won't be hard down the track if I did not go to a grande école or something. But also can't believe it is only 243 euros for a year!

Hey there, I want to do my Masters in France but the problem is that I want to do it in a different subject than my Bachelors. My Bachelors is in Philosophy but I'd like to do a more Computer Science oriented Masters. Is it even possible to get accepted? If so, what can I do to improve my chances of being accepted? Similarly, I'm interested in naturalization so I'm looking to do an M1 anyway. Maybe over the course of the next year if I build a really solid computer science / coding portfolio that can help me in my application? Any thoughts? Thanks so much for the info!

Thank you so much for the video! I gather you are a Canadian, when you applied for all your programs did you have to use the Campus France procedure? As a US citizen, I am required to use the Campus France procedure. You mentioned that you had applied to like 35 programs, which is *exactly* what I want to do because I truly do NOT care where I get accepted as long as I get accepted into seriously ANY school in France. From what I understand, and I might not understand this well enough, it seems like you can only apply to seven different schools/programs using the CampusFrance procedure. Am I perhaps just not understanding it correctly? I'm looking to go starting school year 2022 - if you or anyone has any further insight on the Campus France procedure and if you are only limited to seven schools/programs or not, I'd really appreciate hearing from you! Merci beaucoup! Salut!

Hi! I’m doing exactly what you are doing too. Yes through campus France there are only 7 options. But in his video she made me wonder about applying with other schools outside of campus France and after some research I found out that we can apply as U.S citizens directly with some schools that are not in campus France. There is a pdf form that says that if we get accepted into a school that’s not in campus France we still need to use the campus France platform for the visa process. We would then entered as student ” HDAP Allege”
