So wait you used rtv or what kind of sealer?

Yea pretty much. Any sealant that’s waterproof and can adhere to plastic. Usually silicon based. The one I had said “RTV Silicon.” I didn’t choose that specifically, just had it lying around.

hey what size drill bit did you use for the holes? how did you center them so well?

Funny you say that because I didn't really center them. They're kinda wonky but I guess it looks better on camera. I tried centering them by using a really small drill bit first then moving the larger size. The proper way would be to use a center punch. If you dont have that, use a small bit and try marking a point by twisting it with your hand, may help. Don't remember the exact bit size but I'll look thru my tools tmr and update this comment if I figure it out. As I mentioned in the video I think going slightly bigger than me would be a good idea to get a better light output.

For sure bro thank you so much. yea this new set i’m doing i’ll definitely be drilling a pilot hole my first set of clears i ended up cracking the red piece multiple times so i had to superglue it back together lmaoo i want this next set to be perfect so i’m trying to do as much research as possible haha lmk bro

@@awstin2440 My bits aren’t marked but it measured ~5.7mm in diameter. Surprised yours cracked. Don’t think I was that gentle haha. Good luck with the new set!

What sealant did you use?

Trempro 644 Silicon. Didn’t mention it in the video because I already had it from doing some home reno stuff and I didn’t know if it was the best option for plastic. I would say look for anything that says silicone sealant. Bonus if it mentions it’s for plastics. The Trempro didn’t say plastic but still worked.
