Thank you for speaking slowly and clearly (allowing us to follow and do the same thing), and not rambling. Much appreciated.

Best part about this guy is at 34 seconds in he says how to do the circular pattern for a 3 dimensional object. I knew how to do it in a sketch but not for a 3 d object. Question answered immediately. Granted I might have just lucked out but I've watched his other videos and he commonly expands to at least explain the full capacity of fusion 360 enough to understand it. Keep making these videos. Make more complex ones where there are several ways to build the object. Thanks so much!!

@@JetCrayfish8 Thanks for the reminder... I always try to remind myself this before recording the tutorials... but there are definitely times where I can slow down or go into more depth throughout the explanation. Keep at it... I look forward to seeing how much you can model in a few months! Cheers, Kevin :)

Hey, :) Thx. And yes, I have had performance issues using the sketch circular pattern tool. I didn't understand why until you pointed out why. So, no more cussing Fusion for me, well, until the next time I do it... :'○ Which really isn't very often at all.

Thanks for sharing, 4FunRC! Yea, it gets a lot of users... and it's something I think the engineers could incorporate into the software...warning users that the sketch patterning tools should be used with caution as they take a lot more processing power. Thanks again for taking the time to watch and comment. Cheers, Kevin :)

This was a great video once again Kevin! I have not had any issues with the pattern tools yet. You mentioned our own computer performance .... Can you use that as a subject of one of your videos please? ie What do we need (really) to make Fusion Happy without issues. Thanks again for doin this GREAT JOB!!! How about a beer instead of a cup of coffee?? Sorry Alfredo
@ProductDesignOnline5 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Rich! That's an interesting video idea...and I've added it to my never-ending list of videos to make. Beer works as well... as long as I don't have too many before recording, or you guys may not be able to understand what I'm saying ;)

can one rotate the entire pattern?
2 жыл бұрын
Reason I came here was to find out how to delete the pattern WITH the repeated shapes. I don't want to clean up all of them manually :( Is there a way?

How do you copy or duplicate holes in objects around a circle? I want to create M3x20 holes equally spaced out around a circular object using the hole tool... how can I use the circular pattern tool with the hole tool? Or select existing hole with the circular pattern tool?
@ProductDesignOnline3 жыл бұрын
You'll want to use the Solid Modeling Circular Pattern command which allows you to pattern faces, features, bodies, and components. You could use the features option and select the Hole command in your timeline.

how about if you start from the beginning? How to get to sketch drop down list?
@ProductDesignOnline3 жыл бұрын
I did start from the beginning at the time of recording this...but unfortunately, the user interface changed. You now need to use "Create Sketch" (in the Toolbar) to enter the sketch environment.

how do you still keep the old ui in 2019? any help please? been looking for answers.
@ProductDesignOnline2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, Fusion 360 does not offer a way to revert to the old UI. I record all tutorials with the latest version. See the channel home page for newer tutorials: kzbin.infovideos
