Not gonna lie...at 4:25 in the video, I was like, 'Hey! Move the banner!' because it blocked Riley for a few seconds. Peek a boo! :D And same...my baby is 21 and a senior in college. This channel just helped me totally transform my house, and those microfiber cloths are no joke (really worth every penny). It's not hard supporting small entrepreneurs when they feed your baby fix like this. Though, I might freak my husband out if he catches me watching videos on how to clean baby stuffs!

I'm glad you stressed checking the manual. I had a Graco seat and they seriously said hand wash only! It was ridiculous. Now my shopping requirements after checking weight and height limits include washing instructions lol. 😆

I was really hoping the harness was somehow removable. I am curious as to why you didn’t remove/wash the canopy? This is my second or third time washing it, but first time removing the base material.

I'm so happy you are doing baby videos, I discovered your channel in my nesting phase but when I found out you were having a baby too, I wished you would have been ahead of me so I could watch baby cleaning tips. Example how do you remove explosions on onesies or what to do when baby eats pasta and even tho she has a bib it's all over the sleeves and if that's not bad when you take her out of the high chair haaaa it's all over her pants too!!!!

Be sure to be extra gentle to all the belts. I dont know how it is in other parts of the world, but in europe it is important that if there are warning signs on the carseat, (even the ones on the fabric) they must be readable, or the carseat is not allowed to be used(legal reasons) so make sure they are intact. If not, Contact the company which makes the carseat.

I bought a high chair 2nd hand at a garage sale (the people I bought it from had not used it in years as their son is 5 now). Well, the straps are pretty funky. What would be the best way to clean them? I can't just remove them because obviously for safety reasons they aren't supposed to come out. Thanks!

They should unclip from the back and you throw them in the wash with the cover, then clip them back into place. If they absolutely don't come off, I would do like she did in the video, maybe use oxy clean in a bowl of water and a toothbrush or small scrub brush. Then rinse with a damp rag and let dry.

are you sure that you can't remove the straps? usually you can and you can wash them in the washer as well.

You're not supposed to use seatbelts in a carseat that have been washed in a washing machine.Theyre considered unsafe.

I was told not to allow the straps of the harness to get wet, that it takes away the fire resistant coating on them. Not sure if it’s true or not, it’s just what I was told. 💓

Usually the manufacturer says rhey cant be submerged in water but scrub/wiped down is ok

Patty Adams water only if possible. If not a very mild detergent with water. You don’t want to wash off the fireproof chemicals that are on the straps. Never machine wash the straps.
