Pick and hook set (o-ring removal tool) or just a metal dental pick you can get from the dollar store, they're basically the same thing. works great.

Informative and useful. Thanks. O ring removal is easy with a small sharpened piano wire hook.

Got a link to that specialty wrench? I have different kegs, so one wrench for everything would be golden. Agree with the others about the pick tool for the post Orings. Should be easy to find. No Harbor Freight? I bet Canada Tire (Canadian Tire?) is more or less the same type of store.

After using the star san, do you rinse it out or leave it and just put the beer in it without a rinse? Sorry newbie here.

Hello, starsan is a no rinse sanitizer. Cheers

Hi Paul. The other comments for o-ring tools are all valid. I use a very small flat head screw driver about 1/8 inch wide. This works with all of the o-rings. When I clean kegs I dissassemble them completely and remove all o-rings for cleaning. When assembling I coat the entire surface of the o-rings with lube by running them through my fingers. With the o-rings completely coated they never stick and last for a very long time. Back in 2009 I picked up a pallet of kegs (24) from a micro brewery in Nova Scotia and of the ones I kept (14) You could count the number of o-rings I have replaced on one hand. The Star-San trick for leak detection is brilliant! Much better than soapy water. Keep the excellent videos coming.

Best tip for the post orings is to use small pick or strong safety pin to go under it and pull it up. I work as a mechanic and encounter seals like that on cars all the time. A nice small right angle pick is the way to go. They can be had cheap at a store that sells tools. Would recommend picking up that special tool or a 7/8 and 11/16 12 point sockets for the keg posts instead of the crescent wrench. I have 1 keg in my collection that has a 12 point that is different than anything else. Even the threaded connection is different on the keg.

Try looking to the medical field. I'm retired, but my last job was Sterile processing, I was the surgery tool guy. I use these brushes myself. You can clean, without sanitizing, but you can't sanitize, without cleaning!

Subscribed today and watched a couple of vids. I'm loving your channel. The details with which you explain things are insane. Like even small details of spraying star san for leakage check on orings and underneath the beer or co2 line. Thanks, cause it really helps nervous people like me I'm sure.
