One thing. DO NOT leave the cleanser overnight on the sink. It could ruin the finish.

We have found the following methods to work on our old (1940) porcelain sinks. For iron stains we use the same method, Bar Keepers friend. Super easy no hard scrubbing and it’s cheap. Magic eraser also works but a bit more costly. For stubborn stains we lightly dampen paper towels with bleach, lay them on the stained areas overnight. No scrubbing required. This always gets it back to brilliant white! Great video thanks for sharing!

Thought I had permanently damaged my prized Koehler ceramic dual kitchen sink with SOS steel wool. You saved the day (but with Comet substitute), which promptly led me to the bathtub straight afterwards. You would have thought this to be common sense, but it is NOT. Thank you so much for satisfying my OCD in a wonderful way !

Worked like a charm, omg, the stain just got pulled right off and you can even see the powder turning brown were it absorbed the stain. I was using the liquid bar keepers friend but thought I'd use the powder like you suggested and it works so much better! Thanks you saved my sink! 😊

I'm going to try this. I bought an 80s house with this kind of kitchen sink and I was considering taking it out and installing a stainless steel one instead. Not because I don't like, it, but because I wasn't sure how to clean it

I live in a rental with a sink like this and it drives me crazy because there's always marks and stains in it. I've used the magic erasers and they help some, but not really enough so I'm going to try this!

Did you try these exact products? Bar Keepers Friend and the Heavy Duty Scotch Brite brand of sponges are really the key to getting the sink clean. I’ve tried other imitation products and they don’t work. It also takes a good amount of scrubbing. It won’t be perfect, but it will be much better.
