For anyone with hard water build up or foggy glass in your rig, give it a shake with some vinegar and it takes it all off. Gives you that day 1 look again.

One thing I like to do prior to the water flush of the iso , squirt some dawn in there and shake it that way the water doesn’t make the glass cloudy ever. Few rinses soap smell/bubbles are gone. cheers

If you use salt it acts as a scrubber when you shake it up because the alcohol doesn’t dissolve it. You can use much less resources this way and it’s faster too.

Have you tried adding coarse ground Salt (Like Himalayan pink salt) Or Epsom salts? The iso won't dissolve the salt and it makes cleaning even easier Plug the openings and shake. I swear by it.😊

Hey just have a question about dabs. How do I know when the oil has been used up and I should stop cold starting it so the banger bottom doesn't get a brown ring on the bottom? I must have heated too much? Now I can't get the brown off the bottom. It's just a little bit not too intense but it won't come off. I clean it every time I use it. Also are we not to ask questions during live streams? Maybe you were upset at a different person and I was just too high to understand, but I asked a question and thought you were upset at me for asking. Didn't mean to ask a stupid question.

if using quartz bangwr heat up about 45 seconds let cool for about 30 and take the dab the brown puddle on the bottom is just left over wax u can use a low flame to heat it up and keep the flame moving so it doesn’t burn up the wax. A way to get rid of the brown ring is to heat up ur banger and then let it sit

I wash mine through with warm water, get it dry and then put some 99+% iso (not loads, just enough to be worth shaking) in there with some seasalt, the big grains you get for grinders. Just give it a shake, gets all of the crud off in seconds. Pour it out (save it, reuse it) and rinse the glass with warm water to get any iso and salt out. Factory clean.

I’m not as familiar with cleaning a dab rig but for any water pipes a pro move is to add a little bit of like or lemon juice. The acidy keeps the rain from adhering to the glass in a big way makes cleaning super easy every time and you shouldn’t use enough to affect the taste

Hey all! You just gotta try “Neil's Way” for cleaning a glass rig. I just discovered it and am spreading the word as my celebration! I think that you're gonna' love this! I bring a kettle of water to boiling. I emerse my dirty rig into the water and let it fill and heat up good. I lift the rig (with channel locks plyers) and pour it off back into the boiling kettle. Repeat this step a couple of times. Finish the job by giving it a shaking rinse with a bit of salt and alcohol. Wash up with hand soap and “Wah-lah!” Here's the fun bonus. Just let the kettle get nice and cool again and then all the reclaim will be floating on the surface such that you can just lift if off with your fingers and form a little ball of it. So cool! I'm a lazy sucker and trust that any of my spiritual kin out there will find my approach most compatible and will share in my celebration. Peace to all.

Any tough to reach areas? Buy some coarse sea salt and use around a tablespoon in your piece with alcohol. Shake vigorously after letting the alcohol and warmth break down the buildup. I didn't have a proper size pipe cleaner for my bong, but after doing this and rinsing thoroughly, my piece is sparkly c: It also no longer smells of bong water lol

I smoke through mine until its plugged, then add 99.9% vet grade iso and shake and soak, pull on the rig to bubble the alcohol and bust everything up, I do this for a day or two until everything is dissolved and pour into a quartz sealer through coffee filters, then I reclaim it all RSO style. I have multiple rigs so time is no worry. Makes top notch edibles. I don't smoke it. I have a jar to burn off that is just ridiculous, lol.

I just heat up some water on the simmer burner to where it doesn't burn my hands. Then I use an aluminium foil funnel to pour in the hot water. Next I add in tiny pieces of rock salt...it cleans it out awesome. Then I soak the other pieces in hot water as well, I use q tips too. After all that I then switch to the isopropyl alcohol and start sanitizing it in and out. I also use some called Dabuloso...it's a cleaning solution and it also has a lemon like scent so your glass piece doesn't smell like that ugly residue.

Hot water will expand your glass and allow water to slip into cracks lowering its lifespan, just be careful you don't lose good pieces to physics

Put it right next to a space heater upside down just have something the reclaim can drip on to, once the reclaim is out just do what he says in this video

Fill it with the hottest water your sink will produce and let that sit for a few minutes. Pour it out and add Iso and some sea salt/rock salt. It acts as an abrasive inside of the rig. You can also try adding a little baking soda and vinegar

My go to method is to set the piece on a tinfoil lined baking sheet upside down, and put it in the oven at 225 for about a half hour. Runs all the reclaim straight through on to tinfoil and purifies it from the heat, so easily smokeable if you run out. Clean the rest with iso+salt and its done, and you get emergency reclaim also!

I've used acetone to clean pieces quite a few times and it is a good cleaner. It has a heavier smell than alcohol and it is a bit more toxic but as long as you rinse your piece well enough you should be fine. I don't know if the oven drying is necessary but it'll for sure dry out any acetone left over.

For my glass, I do hot water and Ivory liquid, shake, water rinse, and then I blow 99% iso through it, dump it, and no rinse afterwards. The alcohol dries the remaining water and leaves zero residue

If you have a simple glass rig just empty out all the water use a torch to liquify all the reclaim and everything on the inside and then let it all drip out from the mouth piece you may have to keep applying heat but once it’s all collected let it cool off otherwise if you try to wash it off while it’s still hot you will crack the glass rise with soap and water and it’s good as new and you’ve not wasted any reclaim shits super expensive don’t let it go to waste it’s still smokable

It's sad because that's extra dirty for you but my brother's rig is literally caked in reclaim. At this point he should buy another rig lol. I do let my bong get a lil on the dirty side but I empty the water after each sesh, and clean it when I feel it's time. Don’t put reclaim down the sink.. wtf.. it’s basically like grease. The second it comes into contact with the pipes it’ll stick. I mean you can risk it but do you really want to have to call a plumber to look at your pipes, at which point he’ll find the resinous substance that smells like weed, and you’ll have to explain it…. Instead, just do what I’m about to do. Line a Rubbermaid little food container with paper towels and pour the dab reclaim water in it. It’ll stick to the paper towels and then you just throw it in the trash.
