Thanks for this video. I just went to use my carpet cleaner and the last person I borrowed it to didn't clean it at all. I ended up having to use my garden hose on jet after decreasing the bristles and all the caked-on fuzz came out without picking it. Your video helped me take the head apart. That was the last time I am lending it out.

Thank you for this video! We bought this same model of Hoover carpet cleaner in 1/16 and it has NEVER been cleaned! With 3 dogs, 3 kids and 2 adults, you can imagine what all this machine has sucked up thru the years! We had new carpet installed two months ago, and our remaining dog had a couple of poopy accidents last night so of course my husband wanted to pull the Hoover out to clean the carpet. I said (to myself), "Hell no!" Found your video so we lugged that baby out into the yard and did our best to get all the gunk (so much hair!) out of the different compartments. There is still some residue in the dirty water tank. Do you think filling it up with hot soapy water or maybe popping a couple (or five) denture cleaning tablets (we use them often to clean our toothbrushes) in that tank and letting it sit for a couple of hours would loosen the residue so it can just be rinsed out?

Thank you. Ive recently purchased the power scrub deluxe pet carpet cleaner. I have no pets but don't think that matters. Lol. It's my 1st carpet cleaner . Your videos are very helpful. I havent used it yet, soon though, but after reading the manual and looking at videos, for help. Yous are great! I do have a question. The manual tells to clean the little filter screan that's on the machine, just under the clear large front plastic . Please show that. It says slide handle out to remove and clean both sides. I cant find any handle or can take that out. I also cant take the brush cartridge off. I tried pulling but its very hard and I'm afraid of breaking it. Can you please show more , where to hold or do you press somewhere to be able to pull it out from the machine ? I want to know how to clean it all before I actually use it for the 1st time. Thanks. One thing about the cleaning process, I'm surprised there's no instructions/direction in the owners manual to empty the hoses that take the water and cleaning solution to the nozzle. Leaving these hoses not cleared seems like it may cause issues for long term storage, no?

Ohio here - Have the same exact shampooer love it! Recently it stopped suctioning, I have clean the brushes (removed them clean them and the entire base) removed the clear plastic section where water gets pulled up through (cleaned it) cleaned the front of the filter area and the machine no longer has suction. Any ideas?

YTF does the manual say snap the nozzle into place? It doesn't click into anything. In fact, the nozzle is loose even after the lever is locked back down. 3 weeks ago, the motor on the PowerDash seized up. 2 weeks ago, Hoover portable spot cleaner I purchased doesn't discharge cleaner solution. 3 days ago, the brushes on a new turboscrub will only make contact with the carpet if I push down on the cleaner.

Ive owned spinscrubs all my life (22 yrs old got my 1st one i am 57 now) as a pet owner, kids, gkids i hate living w/o one, i have withdrawals. But the last couple ones ive owned the top of the return tank gives me problems w/ cleaning it, whether i clean right away or i find somebody used and left. Its a tricky thing to clean sometimes but i have most of it down pat but there is a place right under the handle but inside the actual lid that catches hair & dirt, it impossible to get to i might get a little out but not much, does the lid come apart? Do u have any ideas? If u have all the pets and kids uk its impossible to get all dirt and hair out w/a vacuum.when i use my cleaner more hair and dirt. Please hellllp

After cleaning and reassembling neither the water or cleaning solution is flowing. It was really clogged up and full of cat hair. I am wondering if I should clean anything else ie. the tubes where the water flows or the cleaning solution? I put blue food colouring into the water to test the Solution flow. There is no flow from the solution chamber or water chamber. Any tips would be appreciated.
