How to clean a Jura Espresso Machine when it asks for cleaning

A quick tutorial on how to clean your Jura espresso machine. We demonstrate the procedure on the Jura S8 and D6 but the method described will work on any model of Jura machine.

I use Jura for the last 20 years, and I am very happy with it. My first one was Saeco and it was ok. I have Ena 9 at home and D6 at work.

Love my Jura D6 but don’t like this video. He failed to mention about inverting the cleaning tablet or I missed it in the confusion between switching back and forth the two types of machines. One at a time would be best imho

Do you have an opinion about the 2-phase vs. 3-phase cleaning tablets sold on Amazon. Any recommendations on which phase tablet to use? Jura s8

I believe that the three phase is the standard right now.

What if the touch screen is not working properly? Is there a way to manually do it?

Unfortunately not, if you touch screen isn't working I do not know of a way to do the cleaning.

My Impressa F7 says ready/clean. When I press the rinse button, it does not rinse. Also just before the clean symbol came on, I noticed that no coffee was coming out of the right nozzle. What to do?

Do you need to empty out the coffee bean tray I have a Z8

You don't have to empty the coffee bean hopper but water will get into the drip tray and the dreg drawer so those will need to be emptied

@@sloneonone I'm not that familiar with Fiji water but if it is like most bottled water it is very hard and will lead to scale build up. We do not recommend using spring water in espresso machines

What people should be doing , is buying a proper dual boiler machine and the end results are much better for real taste in coffee and it can work out much cheaper than buying a Jura machine....
