I'm surprised how well this vacuum works. Although I have a central vacuum I rarely use it. I use my stick vacuum cleaner every day and it's about all I need.

There is supposed to be a cone shaped pleated paper filter that fits in the green screen filter...keeps the fine dust out of your motor. My green filter was also stuck and watching your video I saw what it was supposed to do so I just pushed harder from inside the canister side and it popped right out...comes out easy like yours now.

I have a Dyson stick vac and you are correct they look awfully similar. Our stick vac is what we really use mostly also with pergo flooring and tile.

HEY, MARK HAPPY 2022 YEAH, Ihad a stick vacuum but it wasn't powder full powerful enough for My rug's and the places I had to get to But it was good enough for my kitchen and hallway floors Ok take care stay safe God bless and will see you on the next video projects

Yes it depends on your needs. I have all tile floors with on large area rug. This is perfectly adequate

The hexagonal piece that the non-square side of the brush sits into has seized up on our unit... any ideas why that might happen/how to fix? When attaching the head to the whole stick we get a red light and the motor shuts off. Unit works just fine without the head attached.

Maybe a short in the electric system of the head unit.

This seems to be a common problem. Mine did the same thing and there's no indication there's a reset button on the actual unit.

I love my kenmore csv stick vac like in the video. But I can’t get the pre filter out. The green part that you say looks like it holds a filter (which by the way mine does have a filter)

It is only held in with friction, as the rim is rubber and is a tight fit. Work with it and it will come out for cleaning. If you find a source for the filter, please let us all know.

Mine acts as if it is glued in it. It came with a filter but the green part does not move

Had same problem. U have 2 hold it n twist it then pull hard. If need further help lemme know.
