It isn’t a very quick process and if you’re on the road, you’d have to just wipe the visor with whatever you can carry. Thank you for watching our video and thanks for leaving me a comment 👍

Damp cloth works just as well. Same principle, let it sit for a few minutes and wipe off. Saves messing about with tissue paper. Either way works fine.

Hi Mark. Yes, a very good point, a damp cloth works just as well. The main thing is softening the flys before you try and remove them. There are a lot of riders who already know this method and it is good to know, but something we never do as a bike shop is to presume that our customers know these things. Some people come to us who have zero experience and every little bit of advice helps and others are seasoned veteran of the biking community. All of them are equally welcome at our stores. That’s why we do some of this basic “how to” videos, just for the people who need it. I hope you liked our video and we really appreciate you leaving us a comment 👍

Hi Zeroleon. Some cleaners can have an effect on the anti scratch coatings that most visors have on the outer of them. A lot of visors also have an anti fog coating on the inside, which can also react to some aggressive cleaners. A quick wife with a proper cleaner to remove the grease is all you need to do if you use this method. Thank you for watching our video and thanks for leaving us a comment 👍
