Quick tutorial for anyone who needs it! I used have a lot of trouble keeping my bearings up to speed and this cleaning method has been a huge help and I hope it's just as helpful to you!

Quick tip: use a lighter if you wanna get the drying process faster but be careful you might burn something if you don't pay close attention

Another cool way to dry your bearing after you get it out is to take an edge of a paper towel and put that corner into the bearing. If you do that a few times each side it gets dry fast!

Getting the C clip out of this size A bearing is impossible for me. I’ve had this yo-yo for 4 years and I haven’t been able to take the C clip off once. I’ll try it again but with the life hack.

any time you need to chuck/hold/wrench on a surfaced part you should wrap it in something to protect against chuck marks/plier damage. I prefer to use rubber bands, toss one around a bearing or an axle and then you can use pliers w/o damaging anything. brass chucks for a vise can work as well or wood blocks that are soft wood so you can grab w/o damaging.
