I say this as someone who's beliefs tend to lean more towards the left but to all the people disliking these types of videos about hunting, fishing, animal cleaning, and taxidermy videos I must ask that you back away from the keyboard and stop for a moment. The people that hunt and fish and do this kind of stuff often times have massive respect for the animals and nature as a whole. Many also make it a study to avoid practices that would be cruel to the animals. These folks have a large respect for nature and the animals they hunt and fish for and they are wonderful people who wish to educate on things like resourcefulness something many of the people complaining on these kind of videos could learn a thing or two about. Keep up the good work brother. Stumbled upon your channel because of the Racoon Skull video and I'm definitely a fan. You're one of the many people who are educating people about this kind of stuff that do it in an entertaining and also informative way. You're doing good work and are definitely appreciated. :-)

+Mark Johnson Mark thank you so much for taking the time to right this. More and more I get hate based on the feelings for one particular animal in the video. There isn't as many dislikes, almost like to most animal activists don't seem to care about big scary scaled predators than the big scary predators with fur on them.

So you're gonna complain when they get triggered and also when they DON'T get triggered :-/ damn you people are hard to understand... All animals are equal and animal activists don't go around shouting at people if they touch any animal. Nowhere was it mentioned this reptile was killed for this purpose and it's also possible it died a natural death so I don't see any reason to dislike/get offended... I personally don't mind people eating meat or doing the stuff shown in the video unless the animal was inhumanely killed for personal gain

This is gonna sound funny but as a kid my neighbour would put goat skulls on ants nests in the bush for a week after a hunting trip, they were never that white but what a strange thing
@musicalmayo12795 жыл бұрын
The ants 'clean' the skulls. It's just another way of processing the bones
@charliecoulls80955 жыл бұрын
Yeah I'm aware that a few people do that. I think it might be coz they believe the ants eat off any if the little extra bits of meat u can reach or something like that. Idk tho.

All those pores in the jaw? Those are for nerve endings. They make the jaw into a hyper-sensitive bear trap. They'll snap shut if they feel even a grain of sand drop in.

+Thoralmir Awesome info thank you. That's a crazy cool critter.
@Thoralmir7 жыл бұрын
I remember this clip from "When Animals Attack" on TV when I was a kid of an alligator wrestling show in my home state. The trainer demonstrated how the jaws worked by tossing in small handfuls of sand, then did the "head in the mouth" trick. Unfortunately, he forgot to wipe all the sweat off his forehead before doing the trick, and as a result the gator nearly crushed his head. If it had gone into a death roll, the guy would've been decapitated.

Those turned out great . I live in Mississippi and was able to do a couple of gator skulls last year . Our laws require they be shot in the head when caught . It usually makes a giant mess of the skull . I guess folks get excited when it comes up and I probable would too, but if they would just put the shot a couple inches more back ! Just putting this out there, I had to rebuild a lower jaw because of the shot damage and actually used vinyl based sheet rock repair. It dries bone white, is very strong and your able to texture a bit to blend in . I was excited to see it work so well . Thanks so much for your informative videos. You’ve got me on my way to something I greatly enjoy and that facilitates me .

@jaybinay506 жыл бұрын
Hazel Primrose well it does mess up the cartilage (i've heard the teeth can fall out too), do NOT boil :] ~Use a knife as much as possible, then maybe use sand paper for the rest but not too much. ~If you want them to be a clean white, then a little bit of bleach would help.

The structure of Dinosaur bones you see at a museum isn't actually bone, it's rock. The actual bone just decayed leaving a mold which eventually was filled with rock, compressed, and found over millions of years.

Gator skin wallets are usually made from the body of the gator since it's tougher and while he *could* eat the meat, the meat was boiled with oxyclean so it has probably already absorbed and made the meat inedible
