Advice, order some special silicone spoons to stir your coffee. DO NOT use a standard spoon, they will eventually scar and chip your coating. Clean it after every use with a drop of soap and water, use nothing abrasive to wash or dry a paper towel is fine. Immediately dry any water off the outer cup and bottom contact rings (don't just air dry), and never let water get on the charging coaster - only place the mug on it when completely dry. This should help extend the life of your mug.

Is the stainless ember mug have the same ceramic coating inside the mug?

That's all very well but his ember is black , mine is white . Even cleaning it does not get rid of the slight brown colour. On his black ember I bet its still there but you would not notice it.

Dude, that stick that you're using to clean the inside of your ember mug is Scotch-Brite. That's too abrasive. Within a couple of months, you will have worn away a lot of the ceramic to expose stainless steel. This is not good advice to give anyone. I know, because I have bought lots of Ember mugs.

How do you clean your connector rings at the bottom of mug? Mine got patina on it.

You can use a fairly abraisive material to clean that as it won't effect the function. even scotch brite is OK. just don't use it on the inside of the mug, as you will scrub off their "patented ceramic coating"
