But as for me I like the whitish tarnished silver color. I have a sterling silver ring & I use sandpaper to make it less shiny because the shinier the silver is, the more it looks like a regular stainless steel metal. It's still shiny in its condition right now but it's whitish.

You don’t need a damn machine. Use your house key 🔑 (the one that looks like steel) and rub it to your ring. You’ll get the same result.

Just use the polishing cloth from connoisseurs, does the same thing makes your jewelry like new
