i'm shook. The last time i had braids - i deadass just let them get crunchy and didn't wash it and used all the dry shampoo in the world. I saw this video and bought (for the first time) a metal pick and an edge comb. Bet your booty I clicked those links and got some lavender oil and that head and shoulders spray. (I hope you're getting a kick back for the promotion.) If I watched your video at 430pm - by 11pm I was doing the routine. GUYS - this really works! and it was a fantastic self care break that I intend on doing once a week. Using the pic to upend the flakes is a great scalp massage and the DANDRUFF IS ALMOST ALL GONE. I'm so stoked. A great way to refresh my box braids and treat my dry dry scalp

elizabeth ツ yes! It worked great for me. The only downside was doing it by myself. My arms were getting tired. Also, instead of putting the water, apple cider vinegar and essential oils in a bowl, I put it in a small spray bottle and shook it up and spray it between all the parts.

I used to braid my hair with synthetic hair. My flakes were so bad I'd have to unbraid my hair like every week to comb the dandruff out and rebraid just to keep my hair feeling fresh. Now that my hair is longer I do box braids using my own hair and the dandruff is still TERRIBLE. My braids are so fresh and pretty and the baby hairs is laid lol but already it's only been like 3 days dandruff is building. I loved this video. I feel like now I can lift the dandruff without breaking my hair and protecting fresh style. And when you was cleaning your hair with that solution it looked like it felt so good!!!! Great Video Beautiful!

By using your comb you may be actually lodging it under and in the braids and your hair, making the removal and detangle harder in the end. It's best to just wash for some especially smaller styles
@YoursNaturally114 жыл бұрын
Not true, its basically like exfoliating and since the comb is going through and through, it is detaching any build-up and dandruff adhered to the scalp. Water will actually make the scalp more irritated because sebum is oil and will only repel it; so without removing any initial build-up, you can actually cause a growth on your scalp because you aren't doing anything to dislodge what's already on it. When you fully wet box braids, or any protective style of that matter, they never completely dry. Tried and true method here.

Postpartum hair loss is a natural process and it takes a little over a year for the body to fully recover from birth, so you're edges are probably growing in, but it may be taking a little longer because your body is just recovering. The best thing to do is to stimulate the scalp by massaging everyday, don't use any tension on your edges (no pulled back styles) and take a daily vitamin.
