I just started cleaning an office. It’s a huge area. 2 floors and probably 100 offices and cubicles, 9 bathrooms and 2 lobbies, 2 conference rooms, and some basement trash to take out in addition to the trash throughout the building. I’m trying to learn the fastest way to get it all done so that I will be able to get it all done. Thank you for this video. I’m sure that I’ll have to break up the dusting and vacuuming into different sections. I have 3 to 3 1/2 hours to get it done.
@andymoore53002 жыл бұрын
That's an insane amount of area for 3 1/2 hours! You're a beast lol. Do you own your own business or are you employed? Either way i'd have a lot of questions for you if you wouldn't mind taking the time to answer them.
@BeautifulDisaster2052 жыл бұрын
@@andymoore5300 actually it’s goi great. I will have to count the office/ cubes. Most of them I get the trash and wipe fingerprints, but if their desks are covered with papers I don’t, due to confidentiality reasons. Just wipe the spaces that are available to wipe. The building is mostly clean anyway so it’s maintaining it and don’t have to literally do everything every day. Some things yes but others just a few times a week. It’s a big area but I have it down to a little under 3 hours but I do move fast

Sounds like you need some help I have 2 other people helping me and we don't have nearly as much to clean we only have like 4 or 5 bathrooms,2 breakrooms and 2 floors of offices to clean with like 16 offices
@BeautifulDisaster205 Жыл бұрын
@@DocKaosBeats I can have another person help but it would lower my pay. So instead I know someone who’s going to cover a shift for me every so often so I can take a break. Cleaning is my side hustle and I work in a home health office during the day. It makes for some long days but it’s been a blessing.

Wow bruh after seeing this you really have me considering going forward and opening a commercial cleaning business. I worked as a cleaner for 3 years at a school district. An I had the worst area, I did a elementary school, which included bathrooms, the gym, even the art room and all the floors. They loved me at the elementary school so much that they promoted me to the school districts main office, which included the superintendent office and all the other higher ups. I really questioned what most commercial cleaning was like and was my experience different, but after watching this, this seems like a cake walk.

Not sure if this been answered in a previous video. Which is better to use for commercial accounts: upright vacuums or backpack vacuums? Pros and cons of either. I been using standup (proteams mostly) but never tried backpacks.
@AjSimmonsOnline3 жыл бұрын
Backpacks for sure. They can do hard floors and carpet, you can use them for vents and other high areas, and there's studies out there that say they're faater
@ShiftingCloudsYT3 жыл бұрын
@@AjSimmonsOnline One step higher than that are battery powered backpack vacs - you are not limited by cords and have to change outlets when you enter a room making the cleaning even faster. Cons of that is that it is battery powered and needs to be charged. Backpack vacs also have more attachments that can be used for detailed cleaning unlike an upright vac. As AJ said, you can get vents, high areas, and walls. The cobbweb dusting AJ did could have also been done with the backpack vac. However, it is better to both dust and vacuum the walls to get the dust the vacuum cant get - leaving a detailed clean.
