Hi! Thanks for the info (: I just purchase f-one Music Nomad, how often should I used it? 1-2 per year or 1 per moth every time I change the strings if I play 5/6 hours per day? Thanks!!
@MusicNomadCare3 жыл бұрын
Depending on how your fretboard is, how often you play and how dry the environment is, will vary how often you use the F-ONE Oil. Every 3-6 months for normal use but you can use it every string change. The F-ONE Oil will not harm your fretboard

@@MusicNomadCare I just bought the F-one oil. I live in a very humid environment, around 60% to 69% RH, can I still use it?

For the brush - should you only go with the grain? Would it damage the wood if you went up and down?
@MusicNomadCare Жыл бұрын
With the bristle design you can go against the grain if needed, but when using the scraper part of the brush we recommend to always go with the grain.

I cleaned my fretboards with f-one oil and i liked its cleaning performance. Then I applied f-one oil to my cleaned ebony and cleaned rosewood fretboards and let it soak and sit for 24 hours for humidifying and moisturizing purpose. Does humidifying 24 hours with f-one oil has any bad effect on fretboard. Thanks.
@MusicNomadCare2 жыл бұрын
For humidity care you will want to use the Humitar humidifier. The F-ONE Oil is meant as a cleaner and conditioner. We do not usually recommend to leave it on for 24 hours, we recommend to let it sit for a minute to allow the oil to saturate into the raw wood. the wood will only take as much as it needs.

Wich one use in the first place? the Frine for polishinf the frets or the F-one?
@MusicNomadCare4 жыл бұрын
Use the Frine Fret Polish first to clean and polish the frets and then use our F-ONE Oil after to clean and condition the fretboard.
@NodakSavage Жыл бұрын
@@MusicNomadCare i read somewhere that you can also use the guitar polish on frets. Is this true and what makes the guitar polish different from the Frine as far as the actual solution itself?

Is it darken the fretboard colour? Or just temporary until it dries?
@MusicNomadCare3 жыл бұрын
It conditions the unfinished wood on the fretboard and gives it fresh moist look. It is important to keep your fretboard from drying out. That darker properly conditioned fret board will slowly dry out and the color will become lighter. This is all normal. When the color becomes lighter you know it is time to re-condition.

Hi, I oiled my Les Paul fretboard with F-one oil. Rubbed in one drop per position, than buffed it out. Afterwards I read somewhere that oiling fretboards can cause frets or inlays to come loose, because it would affect the glue. do I have to worry ?
@MusicNomadCare7 ай бұрын
Thank you for reaching out. Our F-ONE is formulated using a complex mixture of the finest ultra refined tree and seed oils to clean, condition & protect your fretboard/fingerboard. 100% free of any lemon oil extracts, waxes, petroleum distillates, silicone, and water. We chose not to use any lemon oil because it contains d-limonene, which is a strong solvent that is used to remove paint and glue. In addition, we believe the high acidity levels of lemon oil can dry out the fretboard over time and require more frequent fretboard care. You do not need to worry about using F-ONE oil on your unfinished fretboard.

Occasionally the grime that is coming off your fretboard while using the brush is building up on the bristle. If you're experiencing this you can clean the brush with hot water and some soap, make sure to clean the brush off completely and let the brush air dry.
