Great video. Thanks. We have a very old looking DC 33. Bought it used. Getting hair out was a pain but this helped it make it easier. Do you have any idea when the DC 33 came out? We have had ours for ten years and it was old before that. So no idea how old it could be. Still works but it's a heavy beast got doing two floors up and down. Just orderer a Dyson V15 and will be a lot lighter for carrying it around. Should be here in a week.

I need help. So the DC33 was cleaned, no one realized that we had to clean the unit under the belt. Believe it or not, but there was tons of hair under the belt. Enough hair from a barbershop. Except this was literally months if not a few years of build up. No problem, taking the cover off and pulling, stretching the belt, though the tools that I saw was helpful and much faster (especially since I had torn up my hand performing that task.) The problem is placing the cover back on. For some reason, it's not lining up to go back in place. Help!

You should change the name of the video to: the bleeding obvious

Thanks, this really helped. It's not obvious to most people, especially if you're not a vacuum technician, and especially because some products have quirks that differ from the 'obvious' methods. Thanks again
