I did this. I picked up some conelock nuts thinking they were M8 and mansged to get one of them tightened (forever) on a grade 12.9 zinc coated button headed cap screw. Hiw embarrassing when I went back to complain andcwe realised my error. Doh.

The word dart sent a painful shiver up my spine. When I was 11 years old I threw a dart with sharpened metal tip up in the air and in that moment my mother walked out of the door of our summer cottage. The dart went right into her left leg about 3 mm from a vericose vein. The whole length of the tip, about 2" went in. She looked down, pulled it out and said, "Be more careful where you throw those." I had already almost passed out, but was stunned to see that her leg didn't even bleed. Now onto your video about darts. Okay, you made some beautiful darts. My dear old mum would have approved. Howdy Tony! Sadly it's a bit late now, but I just started watching and wanted to chime in that tungsten is actually exceptionally easy to machine! I'm an aerospace machinist and have had to make and modify quite a number of bucking bars for our assembly team. You actually just use the same feeds and speeds that you would use for gray cast iron. It's become one of my favorite materials to work with. Easy to machine, great surface finishes, tiny chips, and it self dampens so no chatter even on frankly stupid cuts. Cheers and merry Christmas!

Fully hardened toolsteel darts would have been nice too. Sort of like an added difficulty level because you can't miss or they'll shatter when falling on the floor. Plus they would be a replacement tap, when you dropped all your real taps.
