Oh my word this is life changing! I’ve just been spraying oceans of tack cleanser spray on it and wondering why it wasn’t budging 😂

Haha, yep, I see a lot of that... sometimes you just need to get rid of all the build up and start again :)

You’ll be surprised at how many people just rub more and more soap into the dirt :)

Any hacks please to use that are not expensive or tack soap at all ? Around the house stuff, even if its as a once or twice off, not permanent use ? . 🤔 thanks 😊

Looking for the same. Got an old saddle out and haven't gone into town to get cleaner yet

I watched a video where the saddle maker used Dawn dish soap and warm water. Make sure to oil and condition the leather after it dries.

I spent the entire video completely distracted by trying to figure out what is in your teeth! Can't be a piercing, is it? Looks like a little diamond triangle? Is it actually in the skin? Between the teeth? Or is it some sort of orthodontic device? I've never seen anything like it. As for content, I was searching for a solution to a supremely filthy latigo with dirty so ingrained regular cleaning and a toothbrush wouldn't touch it. I never use hot water but figured I'd give it a try. It might have softened it up some, but i still needed a stiff nail brush to make any difference. Back when I was a groom we used an ammonia mix to lift really bad stuff but I didn't have any to try this time.

I'm a sucker for that accent, apparently. That aside, appreciate the video. Do you need the saddle soap? Or is that what you're using to clean rather than water? Just bought a bit of tack and so... some neatsfoot too. Lol. Have leather balm already from leatherworking, but never got into the restoration side of it yet.

So you want to remove the oil, without removing the oil, and you to that by using water, which does not dissolve oil???? Lol

Get rid of that annoying background music. It's not an appropriate sound for the background, for one, but besides that it's unnecessary. It's not like you have dead air in your video. Do you want us listening to you, or your music?

oops sorry it's offended you so... perhaps my speakers are too fluffed up on my laptop cos i can barely hear it. :) Unfortunately i'm a saddle fitter, and anythng technological isn't my forte... so video editing doesn't come naturally to me. I had to learn how to do it as I go... so thank you for your feedback xxx
