My Thunderbird 500cc was behaving like missing current or petrol since last few days. I was not able to increase speed. As soon as I increase speed bike automatically goes off. So I searched here about the problem and found two videos. In which I followed the way showed in this video to clean fuel tank Filter. The fuel pump from my lovely battle Green from 2016 is after 22000 km not all right and i think i need a new one,but isn't easy to get one for an acceptebable price and the right one here in Germany.:-(

Wow! They charged so less! Even a roadside mechanic will take more than this for EFI+ Tank cleaning if he knows how to do it. I am so surprised. Just Rs.295 !!? Did they forgot to add 1 ZERO behind the total amount. :P Will visit RE Service tomorrow and see what they gonna charge for my bike's EFI+Tank clean. :D

No they didn't forget, i got my second Classic 500 fuel tank cleaned and I paid same amount...no comments on Roadside mechanics as they will not know how to do it

You video solved my bike's issue. This time also RE mechanic was like "issue nhi hai toh Fuel pump kyun ched rhe ho aap" But I was adamant as it was never cleaned in 6 years. There were impurities in filter area. Running smooth now. Btw they charged less :P 1. R&R tank cleaning Rs. 177 2. Throttle body cleaning. Rs. 177 3. R&R cover LH Rs. 295 Thanks for the guidance! keep it up! 👍

@@naveenyadavsiryani4199 These are standard rates. Every RE service center will charge the same. I got it serviced at RE Aman Service Centre Sector 13 because they had best ratings in Gurgaon. But they still messed choke/Idler and some other 2-3 things and bike started giving trouble(they fixed it same week for free). I still recommend NOT to go to RE service center because in my experience, they fix 1 thing and mess other 2 always. Find an expert mechanic in your city. They put in more efforts and dedication that any RE service center ever will. This is just my option and I might be wrong.

Sarthak, I also thought it would be costly but it's now. I was charged : 1. R&R tank clean Rs 177 2. Throttle body cleaning Rs. 177 only. Efi is a costly and complex mechanism. Never let any roadside mechanic touch it. RE is already doing it for less Labor rates.

This is 500cc, in city riding on speed @80 31-33 km and on Highway same speed its 42-44km... If speed goes above 100 - 120 on Highway it comes down to @30-32

Very useful and i am indeed in need of this. can this cleaning be done in any heavy rust condition also. I have Class 500cc, but less used and hence ended up big rust inside tank/choking of pump/injector. Will RE serviceman do this cleaning or should i go outside specialist?

my petrol tank also rust seen inside. I saw some video where inside rust is cleaned by baking power + electrolite process/DC battery - which is shown very effective, but service centre is not doing this. Is that true? should we go outside service centre to clean the rust inside the tank?

I have raise a complaint, then they assure me change the FUEL TANK. They have order new fuel tank for me. But after 19 days, still in processing. Very slow process of eicher motor royal enfield .

Its not company problem, issue is from dealer end... Spare parts are always readily available... Ask them who is your Royal Enfield ASM... Write mail to RE

Supervisor bol rhe hai ki fule pump jam hai ise badalna parega. Cost 18000 bata rhe hai.. Maine sept 2019 me fule pump change karaya tha isi service center se. Tb meri bike only 9738 Km chali thi... I think you don't have knowledge about classic 500 colours even,.. how long you have been riding RE? My first RE was campus CI engine model ...... Also never assume things about the others....

@@JDVlogsDelhi respected sir , i think you have not met still any pure rider , yours 2012 model and 2015 model are good enough but my classic 500cc is 2017 model and it has been rided 54400km in just 2 years , thats call the rider soul , i am not that fancy like you and whatever i do , i love to do that . And like i already said you seems show off type rider , jitni aapne chalyi hai 7 saal mei unta mai 1 year mei Leh kashmir rajasthan uttrakhand haryana up himanchal ghoom liya . And rahi knowledge ki aap sir samaj nhi paye mera point , i am an engineer wo vhi automobile , ab khud hi repair kar leta hu classic 500 cc ko , mechnic se pahele chalte hi i can tell kya problem hai 500cc mei . Aapko LPM word ka pata vhi nhi hoga bike ki sense mei but main issue in 500cc is efi technology and its engine low quality which is more worse than a spleandour engine . Thank you for your concern.
