So, my update of the Windows 11 pro version 23H2 is installed on my 12 year old Acer Aspire 5750G laptop and was digitally activated using the Windows 10 serial that I had. Currently, it's conducting and installing necessary upgrades 😂. There is absolutely no difference in performance, and it's working normally. Quite incredible to be honest, I'm happy as Larry. Laptop specs are, Acer Aspire 5750G running i5-2450M 2.5GHz with turbo boost to 3.1GHz, 750GB HHD, 8GB DDR3 memory, it's nothing special by today's standards but when I bought it 12 years ago it was of good specification and it wasn't cheap!!

@@Tips2Fix Thanks for your reply, it's the very least that I can do for you 😀. It's sad that Microsoft block unsupported systems with the checking software. C'mon, a 12 year old Acer Aspire 5750G running an activated version of Windows 11 pro 23H2 without any issues. Currently it's displaying my online DVR CCTV system effortlessly. Just think how many users purchased a brand new computer due to Microsofts BS!!

You should update the BIOS with the latest one in order to support the UEFI, then change the boot loading from MBR to UEFI in BIOS, swap the hdd with a sata3 ssd, and performance would be way better.

For those wondering, 'not just preview' - you can activate 'complete' win 11 with this clean method : just select the correct win 11 version as your previous win 10 & thats it; ur old microsoft account does the rest.

Just a question: I did everything you said to upgrade my Z230 HP Workstation to 24H2 but whatever I do, it doesn’t work and when I put the content of the downloaded ISO file on the desktop, clicking on setup.exe (admin), it starts and seems to be fine but after having said I want to keep apps, data, … it crashes. I can’t understand why and in .log files or events, I can’t see anything relevant. Help!

a me su un notebook asus del 2005 con intel dual core non si installa, fatto usb con rufus , nell'installazione si avvia fini all'immagine finestre di windows 11, poi si torna a riavviare, fa sempre cosi in continuazione , cioè mancano i requisiti del processore intel SSE4.2 e PopCnt, come aggirare il problema? grazie

You should try to install 24H2 on a core 2 DUO or core 2 QUAD. Both these CPUs are not supported. I see that you are installing on a Core i3 M380 which is not supported but it supports the PoPCnt instruction. Older cpus do not support PopCnt. Maybe if you modify the install with rufus, it might help get 24H2 installed on a core 2 duo/quad.

i have a core 2 duo and i use windows 11 it runs lag-free. But i had to turn off the transparency but it's not a big deal.

I have 2 gigabyte z97 gaming 5 I5 cpu and it does the same with both boards. In the install it won't get by the cpu secure boot hardware check.

I want to do a clean install on my Dell e6530 laptop, which I already had Windows 11 24h2 installed on it after watching one of you other videos upgrading it from 21h2 to 24H2, using the, "cd [your folder path/sources], "setupprep.exe /product server" method. My question is, if I purchase a "NEW" ssd and want to do a clean install on this same laptop, even though, this video is on the "PREVIEW VERSION" can I still do a clean from this video or do you have another video for a clean install, ran into problems doing the install, and had to use the "cd [your folder path/sources], "setupprep.exe /product server to complete the installation?

apparently the REFS file system that 11 LTSC installs messes up a lot of things (buggy, less compatible than NTFS, etc) . did your installation default to NTFS or REFS formatting on your c drive?

I did everything through windows server and refus by deactivating the restrictions, but with none of these methods I could install the 24h2 version of Windows 11. I installed it with windows server, but then windows doesn't start, and with refus even the setup file It wouldn't boot and even though I ticked the restrictions, the restriction operation was not performed. I did it even through normal installation, but the restrictions were not removed. The problem was only with Windows 11 24h2. The 23h2 version is installed without any problems.

Hi, then wonder if you can help. I managed to use your method so I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 on an unsupport machine process was really easy. I got the iso for Windows 11 directly from Windows. Everything was fine. I managed to go to updates when Windows 11 was installed and I managed to do all of it. If I look in there it says Windows 11 home active. I managed to get a licence key for Windows 11 Pro but when I'm trying to upgrade it I can't update your version of Windows try update in your version of Windows again (0x80010105) but then if I look at the copy of Windows 11 on there it's Windows 11 home and it says activated but I didn't have to enter a licence key. Is there a generic one that I have to add first so it activates it ?. But on the startup it says update to Windows 11 but Windows 11 is already on there. Any help thanks or is it because it's an unsupported machine? It will not let me update from 11 Windows home to 11 Pro because I don't meet the minimum requirements. If that is so is there a workaround so I can update to Windows 11 Pro or do I have to stay over 11 home? Thank you

Try to clean cache or run new inkogniro mode Someone has the same prob wrote this message to microsoft forum: I had the same problem and finally found a solution. You need to access the website from Microsoft Edge, from a machine (I've tried with PC) that is insider enrolled and runs an Insider Preview Build. If that doesn't work, try to clear the cache of Microsoft Edge and make sure that you're signed in into the page with an account that's enrolled in the Windows Insider Program.

You need to access the website from Microsoft Edge, from a machine (I've tried with PC) that is insider enrolled and runs an Insider Preview Build. If that doesn't work, try to clear the cache of Microsoft Edge and make sure that you're signed in into the page with an account that's enrolled in the Windows Insider Program.

I have unsupported PCs as well. All my laptops, as well as my gaming PC. I’m thinking of trying this on my gaming PC first, because the only reason it’s not supported is the CPU’s age. Over 11 years old, but still going. Maybe it would work?

Try and let me know , after you install this version perview version, you will see new build on windows updare and that one will be RTM version , but this still its perview mode eather , not stable release . Disabling the Secure Boot helps some people fix the error 0xC1900101 - 0x20017 successfully. If you also want to have a try, you can do as follows: Restart and boot into the BIOS menu. In the Security or Boot Options settings, find the Secure Boot option and Disable it.

I have a problem i want to tell you: when i installed updatea especially security update cumulative update for 23H2 my pc showed when the installation of updates reached 96 % that something gone wrong don't worry undoing changes then i waited for a ln hour and when i open it the pin that my pc haves is gone and i used my account password to log in and to my surprise the taskbar disappeared also the notification centre including wifi services .any solutions please 🥺i also tried to restore it from when i first install windows 11 and nothing worked the taskbar is gone

Did you install windows update manually? Or using windows update at settings? Can you try to clear temp files delte temporary foles and data on windows , and start installing update again?
