18 tanks on a single charge. And you are getting consistent pressure throughout the job, no fluctuation. Time to consider this tool.

This came in just in time. I sprayed tenacity the other day and was wondering how my backpack spray should be cleaned. I did raise it three times and run the the water through the line. I didnt put any soap in it. I hope its ok for the next time. Thanks for the video👵👍

I have that same sprayer. Think the directions that came with sprayer stated to leave some clean water in bottom of tank.

Clean water is absolutely fine. It's when people leave stuff with the surfactants and oils in that ruin the sprayer.

I will be buying the sprayer you have very soon, i think it's a very nice and good quality sprayer for my modest 4000 sq foot yard. I also heard you can clean out tank sprayers by using 1 cup of vinegar and spraying that through the entire line. What do you think of using Vinegar as a cleaning agent?
@JennySimon206 Жыл бұрын
Vinegar removes the hard water solids build up in the lines. Just like cleaning ur shower head

Hello. Question... Just received this unit and the orange plug broke at the corner the first time I removed it. Do I need to order a new one or do you even use it when storing for extended periods? I've seen one other video where the guy just tossed both orange and the black one with the actual filter. Great videos by the way, I've learned a great deal!

I have a 30 gallon tow behind sprayer, I put fish emulsion in there to spray on my yard which work great. But then I did not clean out the sprayer properly and the tank has mold in there. What do you recommend to clean out the mold?

do you spray any lubricant on pump rod to make it slide better?
@guyh.45535 жыл бұрын
Your information is generally correct but NO. You are making this way too complicated and expensive. Triple rinse yes. Washing off yes. Everything else, no. 1) Wash off sprayer. 2) Add water then add dish soap, preferably DAWN soap. Fill to 2/3rds full then shake. 3) Pressurize the tank and wash out wand. Release pressure then empty tank. 4) Rinse tank with clean water by filling to 2/3rds full then shake. Pressurize the tank and wash out wand. Release pressure then empty tank. 5) Rinse tank by filling with clean water to 2/3rds full then shake. Pressurize the tank and wash out wand. Release pressure then empty tank. DONE. You do not need to leave the soap/deactivator for hours or overnight. This method is what is taught by all states Land Grant Universities Agricultural Departments and State Department of Agriculture. This is what I was taught by by father who is now a University of Idaho Cooperative Extension Service Professor Emeritus Commercial Pesticide Applicator/Educator/Advisor. This is what is taught by my best friend who is a Commercial Pesticide Applicator/Advisor/Pesticide Salesman/Certified Crop Advisor. This is what I was taught by Idaho AND Oregon State Dept's of Agriculture when I became a licensed State Commercial Pesticide Applicator (twice because I let it lapse) with herbicide, fungicide, insecticide, Right - of - Way, & other endorsements. STOP making things difficult and stop pushing certain products.

I agree with everything you said and that was all correct at one time. Many chemicals have changed though and it's recommended to use a tank cleaner, amzn.to/2YnNPz9 soap is not reliable. It's cheap insurance to use this to get the job done right. From Agronomy PHD: A simple rinse or flush with water works for only a handful of herbicides, the primary one being - glyphosate. The development of herbicide‐resistant weeds now requires the use of tank‐mix partners to attain proper weed control. As such, the addition of a tank‐cleaning agent is necessary to accomplish a thorough clean‐out.

please be cautious with residue. Most of it is permanent and can move to groundwater or just remain in the soil. That's part of the reason most of us do not clean after each use. My sprayers have been on the ranch for years.

Problem is I don’t have anywhere in my yard to dump a gallon of diluted herbicide. Maybe I should make a little gravel spot somewhere in the edge of my property to do this. Otherwise I’d be dumping it all on the lawn

Also, if you live in a cold climate make sure you get all the water out of the spray wand at the end of the season so it doesn't freeze

you can use baking soda and dish detergent and lots of water to clean it. It works for me.
@abansalify4 жыл бұрын
Best thing is to clean the sprayer immediately after use. I do not have a big garage to keep 3-4 sprayers for different type of application. So i clean my sprayer immediately after application with baking soda and dish detergent in a dead spot (no plants or grass near by)
