That front sprocket stuff is optional if running the BMW maintenance free optional chain right? 😂 I mean if O rings have the German lube locked up tight betwixt pins, plates, & rollers then friction between chain & sprockets is a thing of the pasta. 99% of the people that see this and actually do this will never EVER put it back together again and have a Humpty Dumpty bike. Maybe stop driving througfh the mud ? "Your pistons will seize" In 55 years NEVER HAD IT HAPPEN ! @@adobomoto love your videos man. Thanks for the good work, I love the wrap videos too. Commenting here cause the guy above has a point. Yes it “works” with brake cleaner, but the chain will definitely get a short life span. if it’s cleaned with brake cleaner repeatedly. What works right now, doesn’t mean it’s good long term (a smokers lungs rarely get black on their first cigarette) Take it for what you want. I would recommend doing the same technique while using WD40. It dissolves chain lube/grease amazingly and is o’ring safe. Also gives you more working time. (Re-lube the chain afterwards with the correct product though, WD40 is not chain lube). Again, you’re not entirely wrong and no your gloves and chain won’t instantly melt. Now, they’re not AT ALL the same material, the comparison doesn’t add up here. Just like tires aren’t made out of condoms…
