i am an art student living in canada. here we clean brushes by first dipping them in vegetable oil. next, wiping them with a cloth rag/ tissue paper and lastly, dipping them in a bottle with 1/2 vegetable oil+half dishwashing detergent solution and then wiping them off with a cloth rag/ washing them with water.

How do I dispose off the turpentine? It's toxic and I don't want to pour it down the sink. This is the reason I have not painted more than 1 oil painting. I love oil colors and want to continue but I don't know how to take care of that leftover turpentine. Please please reply.
@reyanshh_rahul4 жыл бұрын
You don't need to worry Turpentine used in painting is very less in quantity Just do this. When you clean brush / palette with turpentine and tissue Put all the tissue in you uncovered dustbin in well ventilated room or outside. Leave it whole night. All the turpentine will be evaporated and you can dispose it in a normal manner.
@kellysnipe9586 Жыл бұрын
Also you don't have to dispose of used turpentine. You can re-use it over and over again. There are many KZbin videos that will show you how to do this.

Aap brush k brand recommend kar sakte ho Jo bohot jyada costly na ho
@reyanshh_rahul5 жыл бұрын
I recommend you not to buy brush by BRAND check the brush , if it works for you buy it. Branded brush (less costly) - daler rowney, winsor newton, brustro etc. But I personally do not go for brands, I buy brush which feels good In this video - I have shown how to buy brushes, just do that and if it feels good.... Buy them Some brushes I recently bought are so good and price was just around 70- 80 rs( but they don't have brand name ☺)
