English: Step-1: He drew solvent into the capillary tube by applying vacuum, and continued this for 30-40 minutes. Step-2: He backflushed the capilary tube by applying compressed air until he could see a good flow of bubbles coming into the bottle. Step-3: He repeated step-1 and step-2 until he saw no more clog being expelled in step-2 and got enough air flow that he felt the clog was removed. EDIT: It is important to note also that he was carefully watching the entire time vacuum (Step-1) was applied. If he had noticed the solvent being drawn into the capillary tube, he would immediately stop the pump. You don't want to draw solvent into the pump motor. Notice he drew a line on the bottle to remind himself of the starting level of the solvent.

Well, it is a creative idea but…1. Carbon Tet will dilute the oil in the compressor and dissolve the shellac on the windings. Also, you are breathing vaporized carbon tetrachloride as it leaves the compressor. There must be a better way.

Instead of doing so much of circus of half an hour vacuum by compressor, why can't you fill ctc through suction line as much as you want and flush it with nitrogen or pressurised air with a controlled pressure not more than 100psi.
