How To Clean Shark Pro Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

In this video I show you how to completely disassemble and reassemble the shark rocket cordless vacuum. I highly suggest a good thorough cleaning around once a year and this is the video on how to clean you vacuum and reassemble it without any problems. However i do not suggest you do this cleaning while the vacuum is in warranty. This shark rocket cordless vacuum cleaning video will work also for the shark rocket pro model and pro pet model. However the front roller may be different than the standard brush roller if you have the self cleaning roller. Wow. Most comprehensive video ever. I agree with it outworking the Dyson and I've had both. To clean the plastic bottom piece without dismanting, I roll up damp paper towel and just turn the roller section to somewhat clean it. It's not ideal but it works. Thanks for taking the time to do this. You could make a lot of money with repairs. 🙂

This video was great thank you! I found my problem at reassembly. One of tiny screws fell into the motor and that's why the beater bar wouldn't turn. It's a good thing I like taking things apart. Works like a charm.

This process of roller cleaning really needs to be rethought. The average person will not be able to risk this thoroughal type of cleaning. I think shark should make it to where the plastic roller cover flips up and off so we can just brush it clean. Anyway, nice job with this video. For people who would do this cleaning...cheers😊

Matt shark does not recommend this monthly just the filters. This is a very deep clean after i would suggest a year or out of warranty if your not handy. This thing is very complicated to take apart like i do in this video. However thats why i made this video for people just like you. Stick with the 2 top filter and exit filter for now and clean the canister as needed. I suggest this done once a year.

I did this yesterday. Every thing went really well except for one thing. The brush/paddle roll wouldn't turn. I kept checking it along the way during reassembly. But one I reattached the belt it wouldn't freely turn. Taking it apart again now to reassemble again. Any advice for what I missed is appreciated.

51:01 you talked about having to remove the main body due to water getting in there. Well this happened to mine. I figured it would dry within the 24hr wait time. Nope. How the heck did you get it off?! Do I have to remove screws first or can it come out skipping that step. Also how much force did you use? It feels stuck on there pretty good.

@@laurabarreto9471 I ended up having to buy the T10 screwdriver so I could remove it. It doesn’t come out as easily has he made it look. I used a butter knife to help lift to a point where I could finish the rest without it. When putting it back together mine did not make a click sound. Hope this helps.

hE SAID 10 BUT He he also said E10 that their is a hole in the tool in the center of the Torx to deal the nub in the center of the screw head. One has to wonder why Shark wants to make it impossible for the average DYI to remove the screws. (follow the money) It would make sense if this was a bathroom door stall you put security heads to stop the jokers from taking the place apart but this is just overkill on the part of Shark. Now I need to find who sells the bit. Thus far no link here and HF does not sell them. This is when I wish I had a Sear.

Gets some air tool oil and soak the debris in the wheel. Then try with a pic or tweezers to pull the wheel out. Remove as much hair or debris as possible before removing if possible.

you saved me a ton of time and stress, I got mine apart to removing apart the top and it is NOT worth the pain just to clean the hair from the tiny wheels underneath! Not worth it! The design was NOT user-friendly to clean for sure and at 67 I am not at the level of Chinese children building guns! 🤣😂 You would think it would be as easy as the big screws on the bottom to clean the rollers and the tiny wheels!
