That's because of you, not the dog. Always desensitized, with treats and praise, it may take longer, but you will have a dog who isn't scared and running from you.

Don't use same tissue used in one eye to other eye. If any infection is present in one eye may spread to other eye

Oooh, awesome! I've been doing this wet tissue method to remove the boogies from dogs or cat's eyes for forever now. I don't cut the hairs though lol...I leave that to the groomers we take them to each week and they keep their hair nice and neat. It also helps when I give kisses to their faces when I run the tissue near their eyes. I think it relaxes them more...and then of course, a nice treat afterwards.
