⁠@@dirtykustomzhey man question for you. On my ‘84 K20. New sending unit, new power wire/plug on the tank, & clean grounds. Tank only has about 5 gallons of gas in it but it reads full. Not “past” Full, but full. Think the resistor on the back of the gauge may be at fault? Thanks again man. 😉👍🏻

@@gimmefuel7268 is the sending unit new ? Any time i am installing a a sending unit in the tank before it goes in the tank you can power it up and make sure your gauge is working and the needle is moving sometime the sending unit can get hung up , It could be the resistor as you said . But if you’re handy with the volt meter check the resistor , hope this can help you. Good luck let know if you need any more help

Thank you. I'm in hot, sunny Arizona and I had to buy a new clear lens cover for mine. The amount of dirt and dust is incredible on the guages themselves. I will blow them off with air first and then try the dry microfiber cloth. Is there any certain type of cloth maker you would suggest? Thanks for sharing your video. It is pretty helpful. 👍

Thanks for looking appreciate you. That’s the best use the air first be careful with the needles, as for the cloth just the microfibre is ok dry not wet .

I wish more KZbin how-to videos were as well done as yours. Outstanding information direct to the point and clearly demonstrated. There is a product called CAIG DeoxIt Gold a few drops rubbed with a clean cotton cloth will remove oxidation like on that one printed circuit board. It's highly effective but expensive a 2m tube is around $7.00 more than enough to clean a number of those. Have you tried any of those LED replacement bulbs? I'm thinking of trying them when I clean my instrument cluster.

Thank you for watching my videos I hate watching a video and the beating around the bush drives me crazy. I have tried LED in the past it’s not bright enough for me look ok . There was a company I had found a while back that had original bulbs that came in different colours.
