Veena , I don't boil the combination . We mix the vinegar and baking soda and leave it for a couple of hours . And clean with steel scrubber . Without much elbow grease . However the " charam " or charcoal ( perfect carbon :) is the best disinfectant for cleaning vessels . Nothing can beat " charam " ** we are thinking to use the mixture that you used to clean copper vessels . Thank you
