It means a lot that you enjoy how we get along. It’s always been that way from the very start. We try to help these dolls but I never know if I really accomplish that till it’s done. Each one is a puzzle and I always wonder if I can figure it out. We work together to figure out that puzzle if it’s one we haven’t seen before. I’m very blessed to have Chantae in my life.❤️🥰😉

🙋♀️❤️. I Don't think I've ever noticed dolls eyes that look at the inside of the head! Yikes! She's as beautiful as you've ever done! A keeper!❤

We have done an earlier video on cleaning the inside of a hard plastic doll a year and a half or so ago. That one I think shows a bit more but I haven’t seen it in a long time. Her owner is very happy with her and that’s what we hoped for. So happy you enjoyed the video and for your support!

Hi ! we are so glad you enjoyed the video. when I watched it I could see that I wasn’t on the ball so to speak. I was very tired when we filmed that portion. I’ll try to do better next time. I really don’t want to confuse people when I’m showing certain methods and I tend to ramble when I’m tired. Chantae does her best not make it coherent when she edits but I didn’t give her much to work with this time. I hope it helps not confuses people.🙄❤️🥰😘

I really admire the patience you have, that really looked like a tedious and time consuming project. Thank you so much for doing it! What a wonderful doll, and another wonderful video 🕊️💖😊🎄

Thank you for you very kind comments. I’m so happy you enjoyed it. we had other dolls to work on before her but when mold enters the house that’s worked on immediately. It is time consuming but worth every second. Her owner loves her very much.🥰❤️😉

I've been afraid to clean the inside of a recently acquired doll. Thank you for this informative and encouraging video. Stay warm.

I am so happy that you found the video helpful, and that you are encouraged to work on your doll. That is the only reason we started the channel. I hope that you have fun working on your doll, if you have any questions I will do my best to help. We are trying to stay warm, but it is an uphill battle with where we live.😊🥰

Happy new year to you all especially Miss Evie I hope you had a fantastic Christmas and got all you asked Santa for
@DIYDollArtist18 күн бұрын
we had a very nice and quiet Christmas. I didn’t ask for a doll but Chantae knows that pretty much that’s all I want or accessories. I got a composition doll from the 1930s . I had seen her months ago and wanted her ( on selling as Halloween prop) but money allocated for something so much more important that it wasn’t possible . But Chantae with out my knowing got her for me for Christmas. She will be a video on restoring compositions and vintage clothing. Hope you had a blessing Christmas too.❤️🥰

What a crazy video! Props to the both of you for restoring to much of these dolls that some people would definitely throw away! People are always asking me why I always keep everything so dark and it’s because all the dolls and other antiques I have will get messed up! Thank you for mentioning that. Also sorry I did not see this earlier, I was in a car for 14 hours! Anyways, she looks brand new as usual and I’m sure her original owner will be thrilled! Thank you for making this!!

lI learned about the sun’s effects at an early age. my parents had large windows in our house and two of them were in my room . my bent knee walker Ginny was on an antique stand for about 6 years . lm lucky her cloths aren’t rotted but her face is bleached. I’m hoping that information will help others. a doll recently came and it was evident that she was in the sun. The sun is much hotter now than it was when I was young. I don’t let them in indirect sun light if it’s strong light because it can bleach too. I’ve had it happen to some toys that were not in direct sun light. Thank goodness no dolls.🥰❤️

I have a moldy girl but now she scares me! I just purchased her, she looks similar to your doll. This feels over my head to tackle though! You both are great and your cute dog! 🎉❤

I can understand that it could seem daunting to you. You better than anyone would know if this is a job that is a bit overwhelming for you to attempt. Let us know if you feel like you need some help with her. 🥰❤️

She came out gorgeous! I'm so glad you were able to get all that icky mold out of her. It sounds like your doggie helpers were being very helpful! Her borrowed dress looks perfect with her strawberry blonde hair. That is a good tip at the end too, to be careful about any sunlight. I was wondering if you had had any problems with indirect sunlight, because I have been "surprised" by it on a couple of dolls. It is amazing how that old paint can fade (or wipe away) very easily, even when you think you are being really careful. It reminds me of watercolor paint. You have to be cautious to protect it. Thank you for another great video! Antonio looks cute too. His sleeves and leggings look like Maya's from Ruby Red. :)

I’m really happy you enjoyed this video. I felt compelled to do it because the mold wasn’t in you face at first but when I started on her it was everywhere especially inside. The sun light can hurt her paint and coloring but also rots the fabrics she is wearing. I new you would recognize the Ruby red attire. I took one pair of leggings first made the underwear, then sleeves, last the socks out of one pair of leggings. I had no use for the shoes so he got those too! I think he looks great in his Ruby Red outfit 😂. Love to you and mom❤️

@@DIYDollArtist, sending love you you all as well! I have some mold that was sneaky in my dolls as well. Some of it is so hard to get to. I agree Antonio looks great in his outfit. That is very clever of you to use the leggings for a new outfit. You got a lot out of one pair of leggings. It took a minute to realize he has Sara's sneakers too! I took the clothes off of mine too. I'm going to sew some new ones for them. They are sitting with my Toni dolls all watching me and waiting for me to get going! Ha. My mom keeps asking me when I am going to finish an outfit for them too. The sunlight can do some real damage. My grandma's old dolls wore silk and the light made it fall to shreds. Thank you so much for making these videos and sharing all you know with us! It helps so much. ♥

Does the owner of the doll have to remove mold from all her clothing? Is that a concern for mold regrowth? Love your videos!
@DIYDollArtist17 күн бұрын
Yes . just but her clothes in a white vinegar bath for a few min. it won’t hurt the clothes . then wash as you normally would. If you have oil cloth shoes don’t put them in the vinegar. just oil them completely . they need that anyway to stay soft. I use olive oil , some use mineral oil, some use linseed oil. But on the pack for linseed it says it flammable. it’s your choice what you prefer to use on your oil cloth shoes. hope this helps. 🥰
