Yep. A little WD-40 works wonders. But some regular use doesn't hurt either. ;)

you should put a coat of paste wax on the table. let it harden and buff off. it would keep the bare metal from rusting so fast and makes your wood slide easily around the table. i use wax on all my cast iron saw tables and even the aluminum for the glide factor.
