haha is it the accent? pigeon poop is going to be a little hard to clean once it sets, a plastic putty knife and scooping that up first would be a better bet, then soaking it a little to clean off the leftover residue amzn.to/3eLoOvB

Your idea with the rocks is really great! It looks nice. The rug though is a problem because of the smokers who seem to enjoy flicking their cigarettes over their balconies and sometimes not putting them out and it lands on balconies below. I thought about the pressure washer but like you, neighbours below. Awesome video!!

Ya, thankfully the cigarette flicking doesn't happen often. I think my building rules doesn't allow for cigarette smoking at all but people still do it

Thank you for this video! Do you think the mop would be good on a concrete balcony floor? Or do you think it would get ripped up?

It wouldn't work well to clean and probably would eventually rip which is why I went with the tiles to get a flat smooth surface

@@GadgetsGearCoffee thank you! I didn't want to put tiles down so I ended up ordering a deck brush. I figure I could use that to scrub and then use an absorbent honeycomb sponge mop to soak up the water. Love your video style by the way!!

Have you ever tried to remove the outdoor tiles? Will the tiles hides many bugs and moss beneath them? I am afraid they would make my balcony in “Raincouver” looking awful after I remove the tiles😢

I have peeked underneath, it's been fine, no moss. Bugs, I didn't notice though I'm sure there are some, it's mostly dust under there which is like whatever. It'll stay there until I remove them so there is no point to worry. As for Raincouver, I'm sure it'll be fine, the tiles have spacing in between them so it'll breathe and water will still slowly evaporate or seep down eventually (there should be a tiny slope on the balcony for this purpose to drop out the water)
