I love the bay you wash in. Where is this place? Would love to use it!

Very informative video, thank you! Quick question, What dilution of bathe+ did you use and can bathe+ be stored diluted?
@GYEON_official2 жыл бұрын
Use the same dilution as in your bucket, meaning 20/30ml for a 500ml final solution. And yes it can be stored diluted that way.

I have a question, I often use Q2 Tire on trimparts which works very well. Since you can use Q2 Tire Express on wet tires as well, would you be able to use Tire Express on wet trim parts like a rinsed engine bay?
@GYEON_official2 жыл бұрын
Yes and you might be surprised by it’s durability. Regards, Y.

Thanks for your answer! I do suggest you tell your viewers about these possibilities too! I feel like putting a extra 1 or 2 minutes to your videos with helpful tips and suggestions would really help a lot of viewers and detaillers!

I think we really try to give a lot of tips and tricks and some of them are not always the « safest » practice for the enthousiast audience, so these we keep for dedicated trainings to professionals. Regards, Y.

Was a good engine bay wash, looking forward to an in-depth detail.

What is your idea of a “in depth detail”? Regards, Y.
@detailerslife81272 жыл бұрын
@@GYEON_official removal of engine covers ( never had one that wasn’t dirty underneath with high Klms) battery removal for cleaning of the battery tray, removal of lower windscreen plastics and valances, drain holes. The difference between a wash/dress and detail I guess depends on the time and budget involved.
@detailerslife81272 жыл бұрын
@@GYEON_official yes the battery is in the boot of this particular vehicle.
@GYEON_official2 жыл бұрын
The main purpose of the videos is inform a broad audience. I don’t think it’s relevant to show enthousiasts how to remove things as this will be different on many cars and has always some risk involved. Battery, windscreen plastic removal, wiper removal etc etc was not the main goal of what we wanted to learn or show in these series but who knows, maybe we remove an engine or dissamble a whole car in the future. Always in for a challenge. Regards, Y.

Is an extractor vac or steam cleaner better for interior cleaning?
@GYEON_official2 жыл бұрын
Both are great tools when it comes to interior jobs, I personally prefer to have a steamer and a good vacuum as their use is much more repetitive than a extractor on a daily basis.

@@GYEON_official Thanks for the response, would Gyeon Iron be safe for decon before using cancoat evo?
@GYEON_official2 жыл бұрын
@@Tom-zv9fl Yes as long as you don't let it to dwell and dry - we would recommend to use a dedicated mitt or microfiber to agitate the product on the film.

@@GYEON_officialYeah I can understand that, is ppf wash the same as iron remover?
@GYEON_official2 жыл бұрын
NoT entirely, Q²M PPFWash does contain iron remover solution, it does not replace entirely Q²M Iron during a chemical decontamination stage.

I would appreciate a video including the manual engine bay cleanup - no pressure washer, just products, tools, and manual work.
@GYEON_official Жыл бұрын
Pretty much same procedure as the one showed in this video. However using a hose will introduce greater amount of water and hood become problematic with engine bay with lots of electrical components not air/water sealed.

First thing you should do is disconnect the battery
@GYEON_official2 жыл бұрын
Why is this so important in your opinion with this car? Always happy to learn. Regards, Y.
@seraajroomaney31482 жыл бұрын
@@GYEON_official because of all the sensors, wires etc, if water gets into a connection it might short circuit something, with the battery disconnected theres no current and the risk is greatly reduced
@GYEON_official2 жыл бұрын
I understand that but then we should disconnect a lot to make sure all water is evaporated before we even start the car, right? As we mentioned in the video, starter and some electrical parts we advise to cover, even more on classic cars but at a certain point we have to stop overthinking it. ☺️ Regards, Y.
@seraajroomaney31482 жыл бұрын
@@GYEON_official its just a rule of thumb that a number of people do as a precaution and good practice like your covering of the electronic components, disconnecting a battery is not complicated. Another good practice is to ensure that drainage channels like the ones in older vehicles scuttle areas are not blocked by leaves etc before spraying water, something that can be achieved by ur initial blowing of air

Sure. I fully understand. Thanks for the insights and comments. Regards, Y.
