How To Clean Your LPS !

hey alice! just so you know, for the benzoyl peroxide method, it’s best to get one with a higher percentage of the peroxide & let the lps sit for 2-3 days in the sun rather than a few hours. it’s guaranteed to work as long as you let them sit for a good amount of time, make sure there’s a generous amount applied, and you repeat the process as many times as it takes for the marks to disappear. it’s tedious, but it works! i saved an lps with initials on it with this method :)

To get rid of rust you can use rubbing alcohol to take it off

Good techniques, but I wanna put some warnings out there for people. For the technique of removing rust, yeah don't use hand sanitizer. I forgot what it did (For the reason it was a long time ago). But all I know it's pretty bad for Pets, Ponies, Barbie's, etc. I actually do recommend Acetone/ Nail Polish Remover, but like Alice said don't get it on the paint. But depending on how strong the Acetone/ Nail polish remover, you're good if you touch the paint a bit. I highly suggest not using Benzoyl Peroxide, I've heard that a lot of Mlp (My little pony) users use it and they didn't get a good result afterwards (Not right away of course.) I've heard it basically drains the color from it and makes the Lps bad. So please don't use Benzoyl Peroxide, along with the things I've listed above. Other then that you're good.

To remove rust all I do is mix a soap with a bit of water and dip in a q- tip and it comes right of and you have a better chance of not staining your pets

I use goof off when it’s small ink spots. It works to a extent, if you rub too hard you may ruin the plastic. Goof off is very powerful and starts to soak into the lps and takes away plastic. but if you use it lightly, it works.

You can try using alcohol to take marker stains off because sharpie is easily removed with alcohol. This is something I just came up with and I dont think alcohol would damage your pet.

I believe magic sponges work like super ultra fine sandpaper, they are abrasive which is why using them to clean skin is painful! (I was curious if it would take off pen ink after I wrote on my hand)
