Another easy way to clean out this type of smoker, is to douse it with gasoline and light a match. To go one step better than using the propane torch that you used in this video, I'm purchasing a Army surplus flame thrower. I'm gonna get that smoker so red hot, even rust will never show up after that light show is over. I like your "Tim the Tool Man Taylor" attitude using the Binford 10 thousand series propane torch unit. Can't wait to see your future Binford product video's.

One of the things I do to help alleviate the grease build-up at the bottom of my pit, is a kind of built up the back end of it so that is leaning a little forward to the grease drain. I can say this about the group on Facebook I actually like it. Out of all the groups I've ever seen on Facebook this is the only one I'm really having fun in

Any tips on cleaning an upright electric smoker?
@ComparisonCooking

If the electrical can easily be removed in and out, you could still do this. If not, your best bet is to try and wash it out with soap water, then burn it out.

I lit my charcoal and wood chunks in the smoker with one of them bic fire starter packs which just coated everything is a toxic smoke.. I was even dumber and already had the food on there so everything was legit toxic lol how would you recommend cleaning it.. love the smoker..but I must have been using half brain cell that day lol thanks!

I've done that before, but mainly fumbled around with a vacuum getting the ash out on a pellet. If i see major grease on one of my pellets i'll do it. The Ok Joe steak video I did two weeks ago, that sear cleared 80% of all food residue out of the main chamber. Gets crazy hot! Thanks for watching, commenting, and subscribing!
