I’m doing mine this weekend. Similar process but I also use a weed burner to dry it, spray it inside with oil, then start a small fire to burn a few hours. Not actually sure I’m doing it correctly but it’s worked so far.

You should use some absorbent rags, the ones they use in leaks , it should take care of that dingee, stuff that is left, doesn't hurt to try, or cover with long layers at the bottom with aluminum foil, easy way to keep it clean, at least when yous are finish at the end of the day, just make enough room for you to wrap it up, slowly but surely! Try it, you'll like it.😊😅😂🎉
