When u snow foam and then rub the bike over with the mit, are you not rubbing dirt into the paint?

Yes. You should foam, let it soak, rinse, refoam and THEN wipe

I stopped as soon as he used a pressure washer on the chain. Talk about stupid. He just forced water past the O/X runs and into the rollers. That chain will be ruined in 1,000 miles

I think I put muc-off chain lube on my brake calipers and pads, any suggestions on getting them to grip again?

Use brake cleaner to wipe the disks with a cloth. If you have already ridden with them, your brake pads may have soaked up the oil, in which case you need to get new brake pads.

@@ferociouzmonk I have had the displeasure of being forced to use that rubbish. There is an Australian brand called ride mechanic and their bike juice drivetrain degreaser works far better and quicker and doesn’t stink like the Muck off does. Also fully water soluble and leaves no residue. In my 27 years as a bike mechanic it’s the best if found so far
