@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial This was one of the best videos on the subject. Just please add-in that this is a two-step process - cleaning has to be done first, then disinfecting. So a first wipe cleans, and then a second wipe acts as the disinfectant to keep the surface wet for the time designated on the label.

First of all, very nice videos, very nice channel, I hope you continue all of your work just as it is! So, on to the questions now: *Could any bacteria/pathogens work they way up INSIDE the green soap bottle, through the dispenser? Because it is open whole time and used all around the client. -Spray bottles are more closed off and that is why I consider them a better option. (Squeeze the dispenser tight so it does not spray that much) *Same for the stencil solution? (for example in push the top mechanisms) If anything gets in there, it will end up in a client. After all you pierce through the stencil. *The stencil ink itself. I doubt that every stencil paper manufacturer uses approved ink in their papers. *Ink cups do NOT come in sterile packaging. Sealed yes but not sterilized. They should be wiped inside out too before pouring any ink inside. *There are two types of tongue depressors. The ones that I prefer come single and sterile packed. *I have dedicated suitcase for all of my disinfectants, sealed away on safe. I find it kind of handy. Just to be clear I love and respect your work, that is why I would really love your opinion on mentioned problems Guys like you make this truly a great profession!

Do you reuse your greensoap bottle for multipe clients? Even though i disinfect the bottle between clients, I always refill it, do I not have to? Also how are you disposing of your trash, are you just putting it in the normal trash can?
@courtneypeterson13552 күн бұрын
Did you ever get this answered by anyone? Because I am wondering the same thing.
@dombeauclairКүн бұрын
@ it’s different per state. Wa state you can throw directly into trash; other states you need a hazard bag. Same with the soap, I used to wrap it and put it on my table, now I don’t and just wet everything before and don’t have it near by so I can use it for different clients. In wa you can wrap it and put it on the table your using, but i know in California it has to be off the table. I think If anything is on the table, even if wrapped it should be disinfected between each client.

Hey there great video. I was wondering what your thoughts are on CaviCide. I noticed good reviews on it from others using it so I switched to give it a try. I recently bought a 1 gallon jug of it to clean my equipment. I’m new to using the tattoo pen style machine so it’s very important to me I’m getting them as clean and sterile as I can inside and out. I know I can’t throw the majority of the machine in my autoclave so chemicals are the way to go. I like that you explained why you use the different products due to the damage they could do to equipment finish. I’d like to switch to the same wipes you use but lol I’m odd and want to use all this product till it’s gone so it doesn’t just collect dust waiting for it’s end date haha. If you’ve ever used this stuff let me know what your thoughts are if you don’t mind please. Keep up the great videos always great 👍

Hey I'm new and learning stuff so I might be wrong but: I read that disposable cartridges dont let ink into the grip in some machines (eg. The axys valhalla) hence you dont really need disposable grips on those machines. So only disinfecting your original grip after tattooing and obv having it bagged at all times is enough. Would you agree or could that go wrong easily?
@ThatTattooGuyOfficial Жыл бұрын
Hey! So good question.. you can clean your grip for sure but you need to make sure to do it properly or it can be cause for cross contamination. I prefer disposables because it’s more convenient and also I know it’s clean every time.

Per tattooing session depending on the piece but definitely more than 3. 1 to set up, 1 for putting on the stencil, 2 to break down, at least 1 to tattoo with. For long sessions maybe even 4-5 for the tattoo. So over all I could end up going through 10 pairs of gloves for 1 client
