Hi there, The proper way to dispose of the grease in the grease trap will be to wait until the grease is cooled slightly then pour into a nonrecyclable container and add a small amount of cat litter or coffee grounds. Then allow the grease to solidify and throw away the container with the rest of the trash. Thanks so much for watching.

Hi Wesley, Thanks for watching! Wait until it cools off for 15-20 minutes. Then I empty the waste in the trash (don’t want a lot of oil going into disposal). To clean the tray, use hot soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge, rinse thoroughly, dry, and replace. If food stain persists, you may soak tray in hot soapy water for 30 minutes to loosen the stain.
