In my first year I didn't clear any of the exams
Even after going to coaching
In the second year
I prepared all by myself
And got an AIR 7 in NID
and an AIR 14 in NIFT

it needs understanding of math, not at a very high level. but your logical reasoning, analytical and your general knowledge needs to be strong. then of course comes your drawing skills etc.

@@melonydivineq heyy so nid does offer scholarships please check with them once before taking a student loan. Your annual income should be lesser than a particular amount to avail the benefits of that scholarship all the best!

There should be a holistic understanding of design as a subject but questions in the exam are very disciplined specific especially the CAT part

The only way to get better at drawing is to draw everyday and every where live sketching works wonders, carry a sketchbook everywhere practice basics like lines and shapes. You can't leave drawing aside since it is the language of the answers
