Same. I often have fed jngl or top that forces 1v4, kills 2 of them and dies and we lose. Once I thought that if I would be closer to him by like 2-3 seconds of walking time, I would support him with my cc and that fed riven would delete their entire crew and we would end the game right there. That's where I think my habit of watching educational content for higher elos holding me back - I try to play "like high elo" in low elo games and not only I fail to execute that, games in my elo have very different conditions and so those concepts applies poorly. I noticed that I generaly lose because my team initiate fights while being outnumbered but enemies fight as 5. So I realised that actually I am a problem of not being with them or not being strong enough to achieve something more no matter how many of them end up dead there. So yeah, need to adapt to a game, so many conditions.

Yes!! I remember a video from ages ago, and it really changed my life and he was basically saying at one point: if you feel it, just commit 100%. And you shouldnt do things half assed anyway. Also, if you look at really high elo, sometimes they just troll togheter cuz they all commit to some play. Furthermore, play hyper aggresive is more useful for you to learn so do it!!

Soak the xp and let the wave push to you. When wave is near your turret trim the wave with abilities. If they slow push and jungler, adc and support all dive the turret, wel applaud them that almost never happens in low elo solo queue.

I totally understand that supports are like 70% their win con in laning phase. As an adc my support is always playing behind me, under tower... and I can't get a lead. But as a support I am super aggro forcing the enemy to lose lane pressure and even if again my adc is playing from behind they still get a lead. Even if they are new players they still manage to win probably without even knowing how they won

well, if you have an easier time winning lane as support, just play it until you're at a more comfortable elo. once you're somewhere where supports feel more inclined to do what they should be doing, swap back to adc. unless you're a pro player doing official tourneys, there's no reason to restrict yourself to one position only.

As a support main, the only thing I ask is when I'm 1v2ing to soak the pressure of the enemy lane, don't shove for no reason. I want to ragequit every time I do all that work to give my ADC room only for them to use that freedom to lose us lane because they can't be bothered to learn the basics of wave management. I swear below Gold all the ADC needs to know is, "Don't shove unless it will crash," and we will win lane 90% of the time.

@@zz1000zz while this is true with short range engage supports, most ranged supports want the wave shoved constantly so they can have free reign to pelt the enemy lane with skillshots from behind their superior minion wave

@@swolegolisopod7340 the point of that advice isn't that it's the ideal strat in every circumstance, it's that it'd work in any circumstance. If the support is zoning enemy laners off the wave and the ADC is lasthitting, it'll always create a slowpush which will build a minion advantage that can then be shoved under tower for roam/recall timings or just ranged harassment. There are times it might be more optimal for the ADC to respond to a support's zoning by shoving waves even if the waves won't crash, but thinking about that is thinking about how to go from winning to winning harder. ADCs in Gold and below don't need to worry about that in these situations. All they need to worry about is how not to go from a winning situation to a losing situation. The advice could also be written as, "If your support is hard-winning your lane for you, all you need to do is not int."

I’ve been in bronze for 3 seasons now and I come into this video expecting some advice geared towards me and what I get is: “You’re in bronze? You must be new. Oh, I’m supposed to help you, let’s see… don’t expect what you read about matchups to actually work and… I don’t know just try things. Ok silver players here’s some specific and targeted advice for you…” That is not only not helpful, but incredibly frustrating. Please don’t claim to give advice without actually giving it.

The overall advice was just play to win with your character. Don't think that you have to play in any certain way. Figure out what gets you LP and have fun with it basically and be open minded. If you wanna go lux and just sit in a bush for 3 straight minutes in a different lane and then throw 1 q-e-r-ignite combo to get a kill and it works for you, then do it. It's obviously not always the most optimal play, but that crap can work. If you wanna do sona and just press buttons for easy poke/sustain then do that. If you want AP items instead of support items, go for it. Quite literally he is saying forget what you see others doing and just play for you and your enjoyment and you'll likely reach that silver 4 from that alone once you find something that gains you some LP for awhile. You'll be surprised that it isn't that complicated in reality. Dumb it down, mute the bad players, and if you believe you're better than them, you probably are. Play to that and prove it and always be open to learn anything you can through experiences. There's no magic formula answer in that elo. It truly is a wild card and unique in every way.

thats because these types of videos are pretty stupid if youre looking what it says in the title. it is impossible to compress what every person needs to climb out of their rank to a 2 minute blurb, especially given the vastly different skillsets of every player. it is also especially impossible to do this for lower elos because you are quite literally missing everything. i would recommend finding videos on the most simple fundamentals you can (things like basic lane positioning, basic warding, basic roaming, etc) and really working on one concept at a time until you feel like youre pretty solid at it. if youre in bronze for 3 seasons while consuming educational content its likely because you arent playing nearly enough games and when you do you aren't putting the concepts youre learning into practice in a consistent and focused manner.

So you are saying I should learn more about the game etc. Like pulling that 1 minion to give my laner a freeze so he can still miss half the CS and die to a random lane gank in the next 1 minute and still lose the lane and the game? Or when Im having people on my team dealing same or sometimes even LESS damage as my Soraka, what in the world I can learn to stop this occuring multiple times? Not just 1-2 game out of them, im talking about 6-7 times out of 10. Literal Veigar with 2k damage, Kayles with 6k damage at lvl 14, whenever they pick kayle, shaco, tf I just feel like I need to dodge bcuz these champs are dogwater and lost it in the draft. I dont see a point here ... I have friends who are 14 and just recently started playing league and already performing better than these so called high elo diamond players.... I tried getting an adc duo and what happens is just having higher duo MMR and getting stronger enemies andeven worse teammates. Thanks riot good game.

It simply isn't as straight forward as it is here. You can be the very best support and land everything right, but over half of games you get a horrible feeding top laner, or mid. Always. As a support you have to create the fights, pressure lanes and even secure kills. Playing support is like baby-sitting, you have to keep an eye on 9 4 year-olds.

No he was using that image for players who are playing the game by feeling it instead of actively thinking. When playing a sport the phrase "Don't think; feel." works because there is less things to keep track of, mentally, so you should be relying on instinct and muscle memory to get you through the game. The problem is that there are activities where doing that is the exact wrong thing to do. When playing Chess if you're only playing in reaction to your opponent without working towards a game plan you will lose against anyone who is actively thinking and strategizing.

Please explain then how I'm constantly dealing the most damage on my team, how I get my adc fed and jg drake and poke mid (Swain W ftw), how Porofessor constantly shows my analytics on par and exceeding Master for my champ (and crashes far less than Riot's client), yet because I'm sup when mid/late hits I lose when my team decides to ignore my pings for objectives (despite being ~2/1/15 by 20)? I've been tracking my games this past month. Literally 95% of the games where everyone on my team is playing to win we win. The games I lose is a literal team diff because someone afk's, connection issues, toxicity, refusing to listen to pings, etc. Even then it's only been a handful of matches over many that my damage hasn't been the highest and exponentially higher than the lowest. In Iron I was put into Silver games a few times. They almost dodged over it. We won those games for my team because they knew how to capitalize on a cc champ and my W gave vision and assisted them. This past week? Matchmaking got me from B3 to my demotion shield expiring thanks to afk's, teams of people literally running one by one to mid turret and dying to the exact same plays like the repeated Fiddle ult from Raptors, laners choosing to go 0/9 and keep running it down with less farm than a beginner bot game, you all know what happens. Or the a game a couple days ago, we had all their turrets down except inhib. I recalled, thinking prep Baron while the enemy was busy in base with the superminions, but my team stayed and pushed. No wave, tanking shots and at half/lower hp. I pinged enemies were respawning now, get out of there the whole time... they didn't listen. They stayed. The shut downs from my team and extra gold from superminions gave the enemy the edge and we lost due to their scaling. My team up to that point had mostly listened to my calls, for drake or herald or which turret, I had successfully roamed to every lane and handed them kills, but because they didn't listen they threw the match. Is that a learning experience for me to lose LP to idiots who wanted to take out both inhib turrets without a wave, at half hp as their team respawned within 2 secs of each other? No. No it's not a lesson for me beyond teams get greedy and have no awareness. So as sup, what can I do when my LP is in the hands of my team? Some matches I sell sup item and build mage/ deathcap when I see we need the extra dmg. When I have a decent team I can go Liandry's/ Abyssal and with Swain's new rework that combo alone chips away at enemies and hands my laners kills. Or, when as Neeko sup, how about when I got reported by Brand for "stealing lane" for turning into 5hp Brand and last hitting minions mid for 10 seconds, drawing them to me and off of recalling Brand in the jg, got Cait's ult, and Brand walked right back to lane without inting? Yet he was literally flaming me all match for stealing minions and blaming me for going mid when I "should have" taken bot turret with my adc (which was already down btw). I know this comment is too long already, but it would be interesting to see your take on the recent growth of Iron/Bronze players after Arcane's release and how that's affecting the climb. Also, please explain how last year I placed Silver and climbed to promos before team diff and smurf queue knocked me down to Bronze, and how this season I went 9w-1l and was placed Iron 2 and have been trapped with the AI and the Arcane noobs and the emotional rages of immature players? I'm not saying I'm good, but I am saying I can't do anything when my team doesn't listen... and it's not the sup's fault when they deal the most dmg on the team with few kills and lots of assists yet their laners and jg int. Yet I'm the one who loses LP for being queued with people who don't play with their brain on. In football or basketball or any team sport you wouldn't be punished if a teammate were on their phone, or planted in one spot doing nothing, or sitting on the bench. The match wouldn't count and refs/coaches/ the weekend crew would figure it out and change the match so it was fair. League is not that, and the way the system currently works punishes those of us who queue. We have no recourse but to smile as our LP is flushed away due to immaturity. I have no issue losing LP in a fair match where we were outplayed, like that one I described earlier. I do take issue losing LP to and getting queued with a half hp Zeri who abandons a huge wave under turret to chase a fed, full hp Akali taking blue, who then flames me for not going with despite me pinging her off, she afk's, then comes back and solo farms top lane, handing kills to the enemy... and I wish that were a one off scenario this month but it's not in low elo. The LP is not coming naturally. I successfully answer all of your scenario questions in these videos with similar reasoning, yet I'm being punished for playing support. I want to play support. I shouldn't have to play jg to climb, just like a drummer shouldn't have to switch to guitar to join a band. Yet I'm constantly being punished for queuing in the first place and hemorrhaging LP to team difs when last year I was climbing. Edited because some sentences didn't delete completely lol.

You writing this enormous comment complaint about your teammates says a lot about the mindset you're in. Get out of that mind set. You're literally tilting yourself. You can't control your teammates so stop worrying about them. Focus on improving yourself and making the best decisions and plays you are capable of doing. You're also going loss a lot of games no matter how well you play so just accept that, it's a game at the end of the day and half the player in the match have to lose. In the long run you're going to lose 50% of your games unless you're at the top or the bottom of the ladder. Play more games and watch your replays. Sometimes I think I played well and I look at my replays and go wow, am I really playing like that? It's really eye opening. Watch your own replays. If you're in bronze you're either doing something wrong or haven't played enough game yet ...you can also be the unluckiest players in league but the odds of that are very low given enough games played and more likely it's that you're just not good enough yet.

to add on to what felix said, just shoot for a 55-60% winrate. having that at any elo is already considered good, because it factualises that you aren't hardstuck. besides, the only times people tend to be above those rates anyway is when they're smurfing in elo's way under their own skill level. chally does have some exceptions there, but that's largely due to internal skill diff between it's high and low ends.

You need to hard carry him, if you want to win the lane. If you done this, then you have to manage your bad jgl or midlaner. not every game is winnable. but try to make up for it through raw damage. high-damage mage supports like brand work wonders under high elo and can be an easy cheatcode for LP gains.
