I always asked myself if it's not possible to clip in extention on braided hair. See it is. So, glad to his video. As I had bad experience with sewing in weaves that always cut my edges after taking it off.

You should take it out every night. Sleeping with clip ins on top of braids can really damage your hair. Speaking from experience. If you want to sleep with them in you can use the Same technique but sew a wig cap and a hair net on top of the braids so the clip ins have something to clip on to. This creates a barrier between your hair and the clip ins But I wouldn’t advise not doing it often.

this was very helpful and informative bcuz my hair isn't relaxed and with the humidity isn't the same texture as my extension so blending isn't the best. it has never crossed my mind to braid my hair and clip them on. rdazile1 try the mizani thermasmooth products. I used to have the same issue but now my hair will stay straight for weeks!

Try twisting out the part you gone flat iron (with like cantu or curly pudding) then untwist them when ready to flat iron, and go through it with a comb while pressing it. It works for me. Most of the time when ur natural hair is uncooperative with heat being applied to it, is because the hair is too dry, so the heat ontop of the dryness just basically fries it and causes it to revert so quickly. It's important to keep our hair moisturize and take care of it in order for it to be able to handle heat, and all the other protective styles we wear.

I love that purple! I am transitioning to natural. My hair is kind of brittle and thin in some spots. Im still learning how to take care of my natural hair so I have ventured into wearing wigs to protect it. I tried clips in before but I felt they were too heavy for my hair. but I didn't try them on braids tho. That braid hack was genius, I mite hv to give clips in a go again using that. The ones ur wearing look to be of good quality too.

I've worn clip ins (overnight every night) on top of braids for 4 years to grow my hair out and my hair is now 17 inches long when it would only stay at neck length before . Just get kinky curly clip ins so that you're not manipulating and straightening your hair :)

Chambria Parker it's called a silk pres. Basically get you hair clean, use heat protect spray and then blow dry to get hair straight. Then go back over in little section with press comb. When you're finished your hair will be bone straight. Naturals don't recommend it though. Heat destroyss hair
