Think big, no details (specific methods) 1) ability to get things done/integrity 2)problem solving/critical thinking 3)talk about importance of communication (building relationships = great team = great products)

You did it again, Mike :) You've helped me get yet another big job in product design. I was nervous to try that closing remark trick, but I did it and got an offer the next morning. I've been watching your videos for like... 8 or so years lol and just wanted you to know your videos have been an important part of my career growth. Cheers!

Mike, I have only three things to say -> Agree, Agree, Agree. Outstanding advice. And Yes, having been on both sides of that interview process, these are the things I would look for in a new recruit coming onto one of my teams.

Hey just came across your channel. You're so much more normal / less hyper than a lot of the job advice out there. Thanks so much for making me feel normal too and less stressed about the interview...

I disagree about the long interview processes. 2-3 interviews is one thing, but dragging it on longer than that tells me the company likey has difficulty making decisions and likely has too many people involved in the hiring process.

Thanks for this great video. I am also on my 4th round interview. I put together a deck for a candidate led case for an IT focused solution. I’m an Enterprise Architect. Deck was submitted, assume it looked good enough to setup the next interview. They setup a panel interview with the hiring manager and two other senior leaders for the end of the week. Will definitely keep the info you shared here in mind for the interview!

I had a six month long process with six interviews and didn't get the job in the end. I think this doesn't mean it's a legit company, I think it rather speaks to their inefficiency.

Hi Mike~~ I think your video is easy to follow and I want to learn more from you. I was just about to subscribe your "bluecode program," after I submit my bank information, your website can't load anymore, and it showed under maintenance. I am not sure what the process right now? did I subscribe successfully?

I think there's too much emphasis being put on the company, no company needs to do that many rounds of interviews, taking up people's time and not being compensated for it only to find out a week later they went with someone else. Two rounds of interviews is enough to vet a candidate. What a lot of companies are failing at is not doing design task or white boarding sessions to see the candidate in action and how they communicate and what they communicate to show how they go about the design process.
