How to Clutch-less Shift

If u roll of the throttle to much, u have gone past the neutral point and enter engine breaking not allowing the shift. I slowly let off the throttle and when the shifter clicks up, I roll (smoothly) back on the throttle

Slack you put pressure on the gear shift, then when you blip the throttle off it will slip into gear, let me know how you get on and thanks for watching 😂

I enjoyed your video on clutch-less shifting, but through out it I wondered about damage over time. Sure enough right after this video, auto-play showed me the following one kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmGcmKKOfMlsiNE (plus a further follow up by the same man) one where this man is against it on the grounds of exerting un-necessary forces on the gearbox. I think I will stick with the using the clutch, Its part an parcel of riding, part of the fun.

Hi Noel, thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it......yes I watched that video as well before I made mine and a few others as well that actually said it doesn't actually do any damage........now to be honest I am not sure what is the correct answer but I made the vid based on Royal Jordanian's comments about it......I think if your not comfortable with clutchless shifting then you're probably doing the right thing by carrying on using the clutch........I will let you know if my gearbox goes bang :-)
