Picking up a Street Triple R 2009 tomorrow, would you recommend this Quickshifter or any other brand to a eventual Streety owner?
@Krzysk1 Жыл бұрын
Hey there! Great vid! I've just purchased these and installed them on my CPI SUV125, does yours come with one line of LED's or two? And if it comes with two rows, (like mine does) is one row for the indicator and the second row for the break? Or do both the rows light up for the actions? Mine seems to be one row for each which is rather disappointing and I'm wondering if I've done the wiring right as it's my first attempt. Any help is greatly appreciated! 👍

Wondering how these have held up over the past 2 years? I just got a set of the Kinstecks in today, although I elected to just get the regular signals without the 3rd wire for running/brake lights. I noticed that the threaded portion where the wires go into the light was void of any sealant so I used black RTV to seal the wires inside. This should prevent any water from getting in through that area.
@RealDrHoneybear2 жыл бұрын
Hi mate, how did you find the kinstecks? Are they bright like the Oxfords ? I bought some unbranded crap off eBay and they were as dim as the buyer ! Hence wondered what yours were like
@eaglessj2 жыл бұрын
@@RealDrHoneybear I have found mine to be quite bright, especially at night. I found them on Amazon. I think there are some pics or a video in the reviews section on Amazon showing how bright they are. If not I can make a video and send to you if you would like.

are you taking it easy here or going all out? I don't know if it's just me, I'm looking at a 2010 street triple r for road and track use, but this doesn't look fast at all really

It's called street triple for a reason. It's tuned for the streets

Hi Steve just came across your video did you get them from China? And were they easy to fit or did relays need changing cheers
@keithmundy60752 жыл бұрын
Just something to consider. The different concentration of coolant will change the heat transfer. So if you notice it running is bit hotter that may be the reason. Or if not then all is good.....cheers.

Just a warning for anyone thinking of purchasing a HM Super LTE unit. I've had two units fail on me both having the same issue, Please read my google review on this product (Just google HM Quickshifter and read google reviews). Maybe I've just got unlucky as reviews seem decent but not in my case. HM support also has been awful for me, lack of responses and they just push the issue my way suggesting I've done something wrong even tho I've offered to send the units back to them as evidence. Would highly suggest avoiding HM and going with Healtech quickshifter instead. Its actually cheaper and offers all the features of HM's top of the range unit for half the price! You don't even need to mess around with the shift rod.

I just got mine and totally love this lift. One problem though and till' you get the hang of it, on the right side, raise the bike close to a wall just in case, after you insert the the left side of the lift the bike tend to lean to the right. I almost drop the bike, luckily I had my inversion table to the right side and my Repsol lean against it and saving the day. The plastic on this bike is sooo expensive. Now the left side. I was an idiot and forgot to lock the wheels of the lift and my bike was doing an impression of the Leaning Tower of Pizza. A 490lb crotch rocket is more than my right knee could handle but I just had a sudden burst of power and pushed this bad boy back up with strength I didn't know I have :) haha. All these not the lift's fault and I just got too excited and careless. I totally suggest you get one if you love working on your crotch rocket during the winter months. I do :)

It's been a few years and we have different bikes, but just seeing this video as just picked up the rear turn signals. Question is pertaining to the wire up of the rear signals to match up with the tail light. Just wondering how to or where to tap off in order to get it working properly. Instructions in the box don't seem to help much unless I'm over analyzing it. Thank you for a great video as well

If u roll of the throttle to much, u have gone past the neutral point and enter engine breaking not allowing the shift. I slowly let off the throttle and when the shifter clicks up, I roll (smoothly) back on the throttle

I think, as indicators they look very good & bright. Personally the DRLs look naff & rears as brake lights are confusing and detract from their visibility as indicators.
