I use the Veepeak as well because you recommended it for my f80. But wow the trunk remote, I thought mine was broken. All I need to do is code it to close remotely. Awesome.

I did this for my m3. It makes all the difference. Trunk, right mirror reverse angle (I back into my garage), interior lighting all red, and b & o sound.

@@TommyLGarage ⁠it’s hard to describe and I will say it can be subjective and dependent on your stock speaker set up. Second layer is I have a 10” sub in my trunk. Everything else is still stock. When I first got the car, I went to b&o and I’m in the minority saying it didn’t sound better to me. It sounded too hollow and maybe too concentrated directionally, especially while trying to recruit lows into the music. I went back to HK and it was fine. I installed the sub and simply got my bass to fill the cabin more. A month ago I decided to try b&o again, this time, with the sub, it was night and day! I think it’s because the factory subs are a bit weak vs the rest of the speakers in the car. Any chance you’re going to bimmer invasion? If so, you can see first hand. I’ll also be up your way in the coming weeks replacing tires. Let me know! We’ve spoken a few times on here, email, maybe ig and def Reddit. I’m @kwills3 on ig (don’t remember if you’re on there or not!). I’m thinking bout some flaps as I’m starting to see indents on the rear wheel well ppf 😩.

Thanks for sharing. I did the tailgate open and close and it wasn’t closing for me but I get it now I needed to long press it. I also change the ambient lights on the doors and they look so fancy. I didnt even know my car had lights hidden under there.

I recently purchased a used 2023 M5C and I am wondering if the previous owner did this. My car shows the tire pressure/temp on the cluster. My Apple CarPlay also is fullscreen which I heard is not available normally. Is your CarPlay fullscreen?

The previous owner may have coded out the tire temps and PSI? My F90 has it included as an option when toggling. I typically keep the coolant temp and boost pressure gauge in that spot

I tried to disable stop start function on G01 X3 M40i LCI using BimmerCode but even though it says disabled on the menu, it did not work. This latest software update from Bmw makes it impossible. The only option is to drive it in sport mode. Btw this model does not have actual physical button for some reason.. Beautiful ride, Tommy .

I have the same veepeak adapter also been using it for years on my F series. I noticed that when trying to code my buddy’s X7, certain options were not available and need an updated adapter. Just my two sense for folks that are trying to code newer G series cars!

Yup, most G-chassis have limited modules available when using veepeak. Bimmerpost will list compatible devices on their support page for your car model. If all else fails good ol' ENET will always work!

You know what would be the most interesting thing? How to code some of those ugly bmws like the new 5 series 2024+ they have a subscription for you to have heated seats and sports suspension even though you actually payed for them when you bought the vehicle! I hope a good coding would put this through an end!

Better off buying an enet cable for $10, along with an ethernet to usb C adapter for $10-15 for very fast coding. The bluetooth adapters are super slow.
